Level Suggestions for Horror from the deep Quest

Okay, so I am currently bent on getting my own guthix book, (go guthix!)

 

 

 

So, I started The horror from the deep quest and got everything I need to

 

 

 

complete it...But, I need to know what levels you think are good to do the quest.

43/55 ranged

 

 

 

55/60 attack

 

 

 

(maybe) 35/41 mage

Tele 2 varrok runes

 

 

 

Sharks

 

 

 

Runes for bolts (if enough suggestions to do magic when the mother is weak to it)

 

 

 

Full rune w/ o helmet (protect item, wont protect helm(keep 4 best items if dead)( rune body, shield, legs, weapon))

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What to suggest

I think the melee stats are OK for the quest, but it wouldn't hurt to raise them a bit.

helm: mage attack bonus

 

 

 

body: defence

 

 

 

legs: range bonus

 

 

 

shield: defence

 

 

 

wapon: mage, melee or range

 

 

 

ring: life is good

 

 

 

ammy: magic bonus

 

 

 

arrows: range

 

 

 

gloves: range, mage melee bonus

 

 

 

boots: defence or str bonus

 

 

 

cape: any cape

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

what to wear:

 

 

 

helm: gnomes hat

 

 

 

body: rune plate

 

 

 

legs: blue dragon hide legs

 

 

 

shield: rune kite

 

 

 

wapon: ddp++, wind battle staff, msb

 

 

 

ring: rol

 

 

 

ammy: ammy of magic

 

 

 

arrows: mith or addy (you wont need more then 150)

 

 

 

gloves: blue vambs or rfd gloves up to rune (they are below 5k)

 

 

 

boots: mith boots or climbing boots

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

youll add up with:

 

 

 

magic atk: -20 - -15?

 

 

 

range atk: 68 - 73?

 

 

 

melee atk: ?? (cant find the bonus of dds)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

what to take:

 

 

 

tele tablet, other 1 spot tele object (it will save you faster and is only 1 spot),

 

 

 

150 deaths,

 

 

 

msb,

 

 

 

wind battle staff, (dds wielded)

 

 

 

super set,

 

 

 

11 sharks,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but i think you can easyly do it with 60 atk, 50 range and 41 magic. and the stuff i listed above... use dds special when the draganoth is weak for melee i dont know how hard you can hit with it but it could be over 2/3 health with all 4 specials... wield staff when he gets weak for mage and use the blast spell in the magic table (no auto attack), and turn to range when shes weak for it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i dont know if you can kill it with melee only :D cuz if thats right ive wasted 15min on this :thumbsup:
