Hi all I know this is probably a noob question,but I recently got a poison dagger. While I have been using it I notice when I hit I get the 4 times hit points added to what attack I am using. I also noticed that the points from the poison are not added to the attack. So I also checked my ring of recoil those as well are not added to the attack, If this is normal or I am missing something please let me know. Thanks in advance for all the help :D

Damage from poison and rings of recoil do not give you experience.

Thank you for the info so they help get the kill faster but in the long run do not really help with increasing your skill levels cool.

Poison damage and Ring of Recoil Counter-Damage does not give XP. This is because these are not the direct result of you attacking another person. The Poison is inflicted when you hit, but does not necessarily immediately take affect. Poison is more or less supposed to be a last-chance thing, where if you don't succeed in killing the person, then the poison might finish the guy off for you. Ring of Recoil also doesn't work like that because it's jewelry, not Combat items.
