I can't get past the screen where you chose high or low detail. It just sets there saying "waiting for runescape.com"

It's just you. Try disconnecting from the internet and then reconnecting.

I have rebooted my modem, rebooted my computer, downloaded and installed the latest version of firefox, and tried internet explorer. Any more suggestions?

Java 5.0.1 i belevie was just recently released. That is what you need. Plus it is the only option that is left.

You don't need java to get to the worlds list(idiots)... Seems like there's some thing that's blocking it maybe?
