I know.. I need help doing skys.. But I do not use gradient's.. I use zoom in pixel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know I mean't that you make it look like it's gradient, and alot of stuff in real life doesn't really look like that.

Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

Meh **IMO** No offense, i used to do that too. but the ground does not shade like that nothing really does, unless it is in some way metallic, or flat. Also, when you shade on anything, do not ignore the the 3rd dimension, that is, dont go over it all with one big shade, instead, think of the bulges in depressions in the terrian/features...

Meh **IMO** No offense, i used to do that too. but the ground does not shade like that nothing really does, unless it is in some way metallic, or flat. i think that's called pillow-shading...not that it really matyters what it's called, the solution is choosing one lightsource and sticking to that in the entire pic. now it just looks like gradients.

Well.. I will try shading better in my next sig.. But this is like my tenth ever sig.. I've been improving in each one.. So yeah.
