Question about Jagex customer support.

Featured Replies

No, it isn't about the recent rule update.

When you post in the rants forum of runescape about the shocking customer support that Jagex has, you're thread gets locked, and are told to bring it up with customer support. So if you tell Jagex what your issue is with the message centre, they give you an automated message.

I've done some of the research on this using some official government websites, and technically, if you are a paying member, you are able to report this to trading standards.

Can anyone please confirm this?

i doubt it is reportable to trading standards because you dont always get the automated messages. maybe though, got the links to the govt sites?

you're right, they do need to be able to answer all customer support - HOWEVER if you can reach c.support by phone, then they are in their rights to send you stock emails. and i think as the emails are entirely internal, it may be exempt from tha peice of trading standards legislation

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

But they do not send individual emails and do not actually support their customers. It is basically like you walking into a shop with a faulty good, requesting for help but there is no one EVER to help you with it. That shop is breaking the law as they are not supporting the customers.
