cannons AT rockcrabs

i train at rockcrabs currently, and i see alot of cannons there..and this isnt a post to complain about em

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

im wondering about how many cannon balls you can shoot an hour if anybody knows? at this spot

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

like 1000 an hour? or what

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and i havent done any ranged with a cannon, so i was wondering if its like normal ranged and combat, 4exp per damage?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

cuz im currently 40 ranged..and i was wondering how many itd take to get to lvl 80, i thought if you average 80exp per cannon ball...then itd take 25k cannon balls

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anybody done this and know how many itd take approx?

Cannon doesn't give you regular ranged xp, it actually gives you just 1xp per damage - it's really not very cost effective for training range.

well it does 0-30 dmg per cannon, with 1xp per damage..so max you get 30xp, but you can only load it with 30 cannon balls at a time, and you have to pick it up n reset it every now n again or it will rust, plus cannon balls r usually 200ea. so ur paying 200gp for not even 30xp per ball. if u want speed i guess go with knives or chipongas however u spell it.

Get a cannon if you have the money. It's VERY fast if you find the right spot, such as rock crabs or dagannoths. Worth the money in my opinion.

Cannon gives 1/2 the xp on normal range.
