I just started making photoshop sigs, here is the ones i have done so far. 3 out of the 4 of them have renders ripped from planet renders.

Anyway it would help if you gave some c/c and reference me to some tutorials.

Aww, the last one is simply adorable!!! <3:<3: That has got to be the cutest picture I have ever seen.

I like the first one and the last one a lot. As for the second one.. It just doesn't look that great to me. There's a lot of red, the image itself (the guy, or whatever he is) isn't that clear, you can barely read the font.. The third one looks pretty cool, but it's pretty plain. It just needs a few more aspects to it :-k

Can't see the fourth one, but all of the others look pretty basic.

First:

  • [*:2b3kgc12]Just a gradient really.

Second:

  • [*:2b3kgc12]Looks like a filter pile.

    [*:2b3kgc12]No render blending.

    [*:2b3kgc12]Bad border. Always use black.

    [*:2b3kgc12]Font is... debatable. Quite illegible.

Third:

  • [*:2b3kgc12]WHOAFILTERPILE.

[*:2b3kgc12]The contrast broke my retinas and then proceeded to maul my brain.

    [*:2b3kgc12]Colours aren't very eye-friendly.

    [*:2b3kgc12]No border.

    [*:2b3kgc12]No focal point.

Oh, and it isn't "ripped" unless it was stolen without permission. Using a tutorial or a render from a render site isn't ripping.

If you want a brushing photoshop tutorial, look at mine (Link in signature).

cad:

all of them blended but maybe not enough

I did your tutorial but i messed up serverly so now it looks nothing like your end result. I used your brushes but i couldn't find the render on the tutorial.

Also when i was susposed to color it with the two contrasting colors of clouds i looked bad so i decided to use a color altering layer thing.

I mostly need c/c on my latest ones since the eagle and the demon one are the two first ones i have done. Also, the last image you should be able to see if you refresh.

Simplicity does work and you dont need to have a complex piece to make it look good. THe first one was very nice , you should try make the background gradient the same colour as the eagles below head.

"Simplicity" sigs that DO work are usually not very simple at all... It just looks like they are.
