mchainmail
dungeons tend to be a waste of money, unless you wanted to have a combat ring, etc. there.
subbss
Just so you know you don't get drops from monsters in the dungeon and you don't get melee xp (you get mage xp for casting spell, but not for the damage I think). Also its really a matter of opinion if a dungeon is worth it or not and how big it should be. With that said I have a 7 room dungeon and it does seem to be "sufficient" but I would recommend maybe even more but it really depends on how well you use the rooms and what the layout for the dungeon will be. So IN MY OPINION it is worth it just because I think its cool and fun for parties and also bragging rights. Oh I should also add that how many rooms you will need will really depend on what you put in them. For example if you have 10 rooms in your dungeon but the only thing in your dungeon is 10 skeletons (one in each room), the dungeon will still seem rather weak and pointless even though 10 rooms is a lot.... whereas if you have 4 rooms with hellhounds and teleport traps and marble doors it would be a great dungeon. Obviously there is a lot in between as well. Like I said my dungeon has 7 rooms and my dungeon has a skele, 2 guard dogs, a baby red dragon, a kalphite soldier, 4 mantraps, 2 tangle vines, steel doors, and a bone cage with flame pit. At the moment my dungeon could be described as one possible medium of the 2 extreme cases I mentioned above.
Abyssalwhip
dungeons tend to be a waste of money, unless you wanted to have a combat ring, etc. there.Yeah 7k per room is soooo much when you have to spend over 7m getting there Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
henk333
Actually when you build a throne room you'll want to build an oubliette, if you have an underground oubliette you might aswell build a dungeon. But a dungeon with more then 4 rooms is a total waste of rooms, since you can only have 20 rooms total. I just have an oubliette, 2 dungeon corridors and then my treasure room. Even thought it sounds easy, the baby red dragons and teleport traps back to my rocnar in the bonecage make it pretty tough and fun. Don't use too many rooms in your dungeon, you'll end up not being able to build other, more practical, rooms like costume room, chapel or portal chambers. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
