January 12, 200719 yr I need help. I've seen a Canon EOS 20D body for under ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã400, but it's body only. The seller has no kit lens as he dropped it. I have been after a Digital SLR for ages, and this is a great semi-proffesional camera. The only thing is, I need to prove to my parents that it's a good camera. They suggested that I take my memory cards and take some photos with it. I don't know if there are any checks that camera retailers can carry out and present the camera with a certificate to prove that it it working. If there are any, I wouldn't mind paying extra. This is a great chance for me to improve my photography, and I can afford getting a standard lens and a 90-300mm lens with the body. The only problem is, it might make a university degree difficult due to lack of funds. I'm not sure if I want to spend that long in education. I'm telling you all this as it might help you with any advice you give. So I want your advice on whether or not I should buy it, get it tested (and where/how) or go to university. January 12, 200719 yr dude, colage is waaaaay more important then a camra... i would higly recomend you get into a university first. after you get in and everything, you can always save up for a camra after that. wop wop

Yeah I suppose that's true, but I have 2+ years 'till I can apply for university. I can work full time for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã120 a week over the summer. So maybe I could save up that way? Photos!
