Ok I've done the feather and eel parts of the quest, and now before I get a person from hte other side I wanted to try and get the password first so it's less work later. but when i go to talk to Straven, I can only ask the following questions:

Any suggestions for where I can go thieving?

 

 

 

Where's the Black Arm Gang hideout?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the first time I talked to him he gaved me a key, but I think that's from the other quest. So is there something I'm missing?

Did you talk to the Gang leader back in Varrock? You have to do that first if you haven't.

The key should be called miscellaneous key (i think). Give that to your partner.

I think he means Straven as in one of the gang members. The miscelaneous key you get is from the guy inside the mansion, the one you have to kill.

I thought the key was only for the Black Arm Gang members? I'm in the phoenix gang...

Ok, so you're the one that has to range the guy? I was in the Black Arms gang.. so I'm not totally clear on this info. But methinks you have to run through the yard splitting the pub and the mansion (the one with the dog in it), and wait in the room. Your parnter (the Black Arms member) lures the guy in there and you shoot 'im down.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But you haven't gotten that far yet, have you? Are you positive that you talked to your gang leader back in Varrock? That is the most obvious situation I'm seeing right now.

To eb honest, i'm not sure who the gang leader is! I mean, Straven is teh guy guarding the door...is there supposed to be a leader inside whom I'm supposed to talk to?the guide only mentions asking Stravan about teh Master Theif Armband

Oh, my bad. I read your post wrong. You're in Varrock talking to Straven, which is the gang leader there. If there are any more options, have you asked him about all of them?

Yes I've asked about all but none of them say anything about a password. =/ I mean, i'll go try again now lol but...

Maybe he already gave the pass to me previously?When I was temporarily f2p i perhaps talked to him?

Hm... hm.... Well, if you can't figure it out, I guess I'm out of advice. As I've said, I was in the Black Arms and don't really know what to tell you about the Phoenix Gang.

Have you done shield of arrav? that's a required quest for that section of hero's.

Well thanks for the halp =) I've sorta figured it out.now I';m off to find a BA member to finish this quest ^.^

My next guess was that he had already given you the password, but you missed it somehow. I did that with the key. I got so frustrated trying to get the key from the guy, I made a post here trying to figure out how to get it. I tried for about 10 minutes before I realized... it was already in my inventory!

Lol yeah he did already give me the pass :oops: but probably when i wasnt paying attention like 2 months ago lol. =)

Gah! I d the key. I couldn't get it, because i had picked one up off the ground once so it was in my bank and i didn't know.
