To get through the dungeon during the monkey madness quest, how many p pots would i need with 52 prayer and 74 combat?

At my combat (stats in sig), I made it through wearing full initiate with 1 dose of prayer pot and no food, although I really didn't need that dose, believe it or not.

yeah just make sure you wear initiate, monks robes or whatever and you should be fine, might want to bring a p pot just in case though :wink:

Same - I brought a bunch of food/prayer/energy pots, but I realized near the end I didn't really need - I drank p pot dose to be on the safe side, though.

How many pots for the demon at the end?

I just did protect from mage and ranged with monk robes... still had tons of prayer left at end. I was dumb enough to wait till 96 combat for monkey madness (mostly because I was in love with my whip)

My range is pretty low, would it be the same if I meleed? Probably not, then he'd hit me with 2 attacks...

Nah, just mage him - those 30's he hits are nasty. Remember, the whole squad will be attacking along with, and they take him down fairly quickly. (Just for fun, I let the squad take him out once I got him to half health with blood burst. What a waste of runes on my part, for me monkey madness was no challange Of course, I might try it on my pure before desert treasure, but I don't really wanna pay for two memberships...)

According to the tip.it guide, mage sucks against him.

Yeah, it does, but if ur range is really low, it's ok. Melee isn't recomended, although at my level, it wouldn't have been that hard, if I used sharks and watched my health (after all, it can't be harder then desert treasure)

i don't think that i'll have much trouble with this quest now... i just have to finish the dam puzzle :wall:

Sorry about the random comment, but you shouldn't have much trouble with monkey madness at your level. I just wish I had done 50 levels before, so I could brag about it

Not that rare - there's people level 40 with d scimmys. What scares mes is that there's level 51's with ancient staffs and ghostly robes... :ohnoes: desert treasure was tough at 87 combat.
