Mamong
I just ran a scan with Ad Aware and it returned 5 "Tracking Cookies" after reading about them, it came under the category "Data Miner" Is a "Data Miner" a keylogger? :ohnoes: If it is, do I need to change my passwords? Cruiser
Tracking cookies are only set within your browser when you visit a website. Generally the time and date of your visit and other user specific info. They aren't keyloggers. Some people just see them as spyware because websites use them to track site usage and other statistics about the user.
Mamong
*Phew*, thats a relief then. I often get them in scans and was wondering if they might be dangerous, thanks. [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]
