Faster Fishing... Salmon or Monkfish?

I've decided to start fishing a cooking a bit so I can get my total up and be able to fish better food. I've heard a bunch of things about Monkfish, and that it's fast and very profitable, but I've also heard that Salmon and Trout are extremely fast, but not as profitable. Before I start I would just like to know which would be better. Keep in mind that I want to make a decent amount of money, and I want fairly fast experience. Thanks for the help.

Well, fly fishing in shilo village is quite a bit faster than monkfish, but I don't know who buy them in any kind of bulk. It also costs a bit for the feathers (accually, barely any cost if you're buying less than 20k of them).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you desire fishing levels more than the profit, I'd try fly fishing for a while at least, then mabye switch to monkfish. You can compare the money/speed ratio and see which is best.

your best bet is probably just to sell them to the store and buy mroe feathers with the money

 

 

 

or use them yourself, you'd be surprised how often low healing food can come in handy

ok first fly fish at barb village and then bank in edgeville walk to bank and run bank save alot of energy and time when u use all ur feathers and have 99 fishing u can either sell the raw fish or cook them if ur going to cook them i would cook in edgeville go onto world 1,3 and firemakers are there just cook bank if ur going to sell sell raw trout 40ea salmon 50ea oh and if urgoing to sell pm epeeflecher in game i buy all salmon

I. Go to a crowded world (I used world 4 because it is a pking world)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

II. Fly-fish in barbarian village, bank in edgeville (it's your choice whether or not to cook em)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

III. Every time you get 100+ in trout or salmon, sell the fish in "packets" of 100 each (I usually sold 100 trout for 5k, 100 salmon for 7k-8k)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IV. Then repeat! This is a 100% F2P guide

Get around 5k feathers and definately fish in Shilo. Fish a load, sell them all to the fishing store, buy back your feathers. It's very fast. I don't know about monkfish.
