Is there a way to put a portal in your house so that it tellies you to Canifs? I'm only 44 cons and I was wondering whether I should get it to 50+ for this :)

You can make a Kharyrll teleport portal, which teles you to canfis pub .You have to finish Desert Treasure to do so though

Yes, just 50 construction. And, when you focus the portal you do not need to be in your ancients spell book to do so. You just need the runes to focus the portal.

correct me if i'm wrong but can't you use a contruction tea to raise you to level 50 from 47?

There is. You need 50 con, and then just get 100 blood runes, 200 laws, and use it in your portal room with the focusing thingy. I have it, along with a chapel, and it helps barrowing immensely. You should definitely raise it to 50 for that.
