Zerofiend14 was my first account and only account and I have been through good times and bad with it, from the first time I lost full rune due to a glitch, to getting my first barrows reward. When I started runescape the game was alot different than it is today, there was no construction, there was no hunting, hell there wasnt even slayer, and the society was not all pures and pkers (ex. 0o0o0o0o0o) people got all of there stats up and scamming wasnt as big of an issue. That is why I quit 6 months ago and started to play a funner game. Yesterday I checked my hi-scores and noticed that my total was 1246 instead of the 1240 I left it at. A little nervous i typed in my password and sure enough..... "Invalid Username or Password" Now the only reason im mad is because this game meant alot too me, and was my first mmorpg and first account so seeing this I was extremely disapointed. well thanks for reading, and sorry if I wasted your time... Trust me, the odds of someone truly "hacking" your account is nil, even if you downlowded a keylogger...who would want to steal a 1200 total account? Think of it this way...if you were a hacker...and could actually hack Jagex (good luck with that) and get account info, or otherwise get it through various means....whose account would you take? Mr ranked 745,124? or mr ranked 1-500?.... :XD: Thats why it is one of your freinds...happened to my son also...I told him to ask one of the two "best" friends he had that he played Runescape with. Pretty sick that one of his freinds cleaned his account out, and then play friend the next day at school. Today's generation though..no Integrity. Lowgravity Posted February 1, 2007 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Here's what you do, you recover your account by sending Jagex (via "I lost my account") your recovery questions when your account was first made, the first password used, the first e-mail used etc. they will see you made the account and were the original owner, and then not only do you get your account back, you get all the hackers items \ Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. Even if it was, Jagex has no reason to believe you. Otherwise, people would find some player, perhaps one of the top 100, and claim it was their main and ask for it to be banned. Best idea is to just cancel subscription. Why pay your money for someone else to enjoy it? Cancel the account first. Then you can worry about banning. As he said in a later post after yours, he bought full zammy and a whip. Its not the best things in the world, but still quite a loot. Hackers take any account they can find. They take it, search their account thouroughly, then take what they like. And no, I'm not a hacker. It doesnt take a hacker to know this. Besides, why end at hacking? The hacker could also be an autoer or accoutn seller. He could auto on a hacked account. No one suspects a lvl 70 of autoing. And if the account is banned, so what? It wasnt his in the first place. And of course there are still people who are willing to buy accounts. Even if the hacker can't earn much of a rs profit, he can still make some cash in real life. zerofiend14 Posted February 1, 2007 Author Share Posted February 1, 2007 Ok you have to remember full zammy and a whip was worth a hell of a lot more than it is now, and I was never the luckiest at drops and I have never merchented anything except a rune scimmy or 2, and the reason I want him banned is because if I cant play it nobody should, and it used to be cool to show people my stats but what now?
