You'll get Ava's Attractor from the quest initially, which "finds" and gives you iron things. If you have over 50 range, you can upgrade it to the Ava's Accumulator, which picks up steel things. These can be steel arrows, knives, and things of the such.

Ontopic: The accumulator is extremely useful, I was using it while ranging bloodvelds and I can tell it saves bunchs of time. And the quest is really easy, just a bunch of running.
