Go with a d long or battleaxe and rune armour. Train on spiders in SoS or lessers on Karamja.

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

AMEN!

If you can hack it, I recommend completing Monkey Madness and getting a Dragon Scimitar. It's faster than the long, and basically the same stats. In the long term, it's the best strength training weapon for your level.

I also think its' a good idea to bring a Dragon Dagger (p++) to K-O (with it's Special Attack) whatever you're fighting.

Fighter Torso from Barbarian assault boosts Strength, as do Rune Boots or Climbing Boots (require a couple of quests to get, methinks).

There's also the good aul Amulet of Glory for Attack Bonuses. Unless you can afford a fury.

Better yet, though it requires completion of Haunted Mine and then Tarn's Lair minigame, the Salve Amulet (e) gives a 20% boost to Attack and Strength when fighting undead (Skeletons and Zombies).

Then, training on Skellies and Zombies gets even easier.

Full rune , dragon long..amulet of glory..addamant+ boots.

If you're str is above 70 (Att+Str=total 130+)you should try to get rune defender.
