I don't want full barrows sets like veracs, or dharoks or anything but like mixtures of things like Guthan pl8 and torags legs etc. What weapon would be good? Whip? Shield? Obby? D sq? Rune Defender? nerdattack16 Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Well, you can get quite nice looking armor in the form of god armors or gilded, which perform as good as rune. Performance-wise, Torag's plate and legs is the best defensive bonus in the game (except Third Age, which is way too expensive for you). A whip would of course be the best weapon that you could get, and a dragon scimitar is quite good for training Strength. It's a tossup between rune defender, which provides attack bonus, and a dragon square, which provides a better defense bonus. Defenders are essentially free, however. Even after buying a whip, dragon square, and Torag plate+legs, you could quite possibly still afford a Fury, unless you want to save your money. An ideal setup for combat would be: Berserker Helm Torag's plate and legs Amulet of Glory Whip + Defender/Obby shield/dragon square Rune boots Obby or Legend's cape And maybe a Warrior ring. Its around 6 mil all together, if you buy a zerker ring, obby cape and sheild.
