This question may sound childish, so don't laugh.

The thing is, I'm afraid of spiders, and I mean really, really afraid of them, and the runehq guide (I think it was the runehq one, it might have been tip.it's guide) said it has given some people nightmares. :ohnoes:

So, if anyone who is afraid of spiders has done the quest already, can they give me hints on how keep from seeing to many spiders.

p.s. If your just going to post just to laugh, I beg you, I repeat, I beg you not to post or laugh.

p.s.s. I'm seriously afraid of spiders, so don't say, "oh' you just want attention," because I don't, I really, really am afraid of spiders. :ohnoes:

Put the gamer on low detail before you go to the spider, makes the spider less detailed :D

I'm arachnaphobe too - I was expecting to be a tad disturbed at that part, but it's really no worse than the spiders that are dotted about the game anyway. Just a lot of them.

when you say spiders, do you mean the giant spiders, or the tiny ones?

Giantantic!I'm still sucking my thumb when I saw the spiders in high detail!

Don't worry, they are very animated and look just like a cartoon blob! I think that thing about the nightmares was just added in for dramatic effect.

Although if you want to be on the safe side, but put it on low detail so you can't even tell there spiders! :P

I just did the underground pass a couple days ago, and i'm very afraid of spiders as well. I played on high detail and they're really not that bad at all. The most arachnophobic person could probably low-detail it and be fine =) no worries. That part is really short too.

Put the game on Low Detail, and look from the top-down perspective.
