You don't need to be concerned about having anything else equipped, as long as you have that list of items equipped as well. Equip everything before yawning - Uri should appear. Then shrug, then talk to him. If you're sure you've done that, do it again just in case. If it still doesn't work, I'm baffled - I just checked the tip.it treasure trail page, and it doesn't seem to be the case that you need to be anywhere specific in the lobby. Good luck...

The elemental shield is purple - the mind shield is the same colour as the mind helm.

House PAR-TAY! Followed by 3 mil drop party!

Count me in :) -
that had me confused for a while too - it's 'just' north only insofar as you don't have to go all the way south...it's further south than you might think, though, and something of a chore to get there through the maze-like alleys. Good luck.

Good point, Fat Slug - I've been a bit sniffy about my 'packed lunch' (even if it does come in a nice shiny rune satchel), but I'm forgetting the times when having a cake, a banana and a sandwich in one inventory slot would have been very welcome indeed.
-
Unlikely, since food and feathers hold no data - they're one-use objects and will surely continue to stack. Offhand, the items it might affect in the future include Rings of Forging and Recoil (glories, game necklaces and duel rings already stack separately according to remaining charge). Any other ideas?

I don't think there's much they could do to persuade me to try BA - it still requires co-operation between RS players...good luck with that... Besides, if I want a really tiny chance of getting a d-chain or (just maybe) 3rd age armour I'll kill dusties or do treasure trails. On the other hand, thank @*&$! they banned cats from the gardens. Suddenly I have an enjoyable way to gain thieving xp, and the only thing that was spoiling it was tripping over some fool's cat.
-
Oh yes...the timing of the elementals can change when they catch someone, which can dump you in it if you choose that moment to run. And I mentioned the cats in the anti-thread - in or out of the garden they are nothing but an annoyance. Someone start a petition...

If you want it to go really fast, wear boots of lightness, spotty cape and no pointless armour and equipment - my energy never drops below 90% running round Autumn.

I didn't find the catspeak amulet that helpful - he doesn't tell you anything you shouldn't already now. I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but if you search the shelves in the apprentice's room, you get a beer glass. Either set of shelves, and there seems to be an unlimited supply.

You can pot up from 53 - I did. Also, it appeared that once I'd got through the dense forest west of the tracker, I could get through the rest on the way to the catapult without repotting - but that when I got back and tried to get through the dense forest further north, leading to the limestone, I needed to pot for that.
-
I'm arachnaphobe too - I was expecting to be a tad disturbed at that part, but it's really no worse than the spiders that are dotted about the game anyway. Just a lot of them.

Under Ground Pass Possible without 50+ agilty?
jiggeryqua replied to Phyrexial's topic in Help and Advice
I did it at 50 agility and I fell so often in the final maze that I came close to giving up. That said, I left with about half as many swordies as I'd brought - follow the tip-it guide, which points out plenty of places to pick up food along the way, and bear in mind that drunken dwarf beneath the maze will give you food repeatedly. You lose 5hp getting it, but he gives you bread, stew and pie, so you come out ahead on the deal. It took me a while to notice that you also lose some agility when you lose the hp, but by the time you've walked back up to the jumps again you should have regained that. -

That sig rings a bell 3/10 -
Just got a blue dragon clue that required me to get hold of a blue mystic hat, a rune full helm and blue dhide chaps and then go and make a fire battlestaff, all to keep Uri happy. Having fought a sara wizard, I eventually got some rune tat, a mage bow and 1254gp. It's random - just like random events - when are people going to get a hold on that idea? :wall:

Runescape: teamplay vs lone adventurer
jiggeryqua replied to dutchdreams's topic in General Discussion
When you start the Lost City quest, down in the Lumbridge swamp, you meet a party of adevnturers - the archetypal Warrior, Thief, Wizard, Cleric AD&D party - yet there's nowhere in RS that caters to that kind of play at all. I experienced similar problems to those posted above in regard to Shield of Arrav and Heroes (I eventually found a friendly mod on the official forums who came and helped with Heroes). I haven't even tried BA, having suffered enough at CW and PC - and I'm not yet good enough for the Kings & Queens of the game, I fear. Oh, I'm not that fussed by the rewards available from Trouble Brewing, shades, the trawler etc to bother trying to find a team Part of the problem is the massive amount of scamming in the game - I'm distrustful of anyone I don't actually know IRL (though that might add to the experience of a AD&D style dungeon), the upshot of which is that there's only one person I might form a team with...and that would depend, as has been noted above, on him being online at the same time as for me, for the same length of time, and feeling so inclined at the same time. I did enjoy Spartan Invasion (or whatever it was called - I suspect similar TET events are worth a visit too), but that was just a bit of fun (and the teamwork was appalling! no, really, it was shambolic! great fun though :) ) Maybe RS3 could incorporate more multi-player experiences, but it might then also need to include something I've hesitantly suggested a couple of times elsewhere - a higher level of membership server, that was capable of weeding out the scammers and time-wasters, the dishonourable and the dishonest.. I have no idea how you'd do that - with combat xp being so easy to obtain (PC products), total levels possibly indicating someone who just spent a year mining iron and cutting wood but with no real knowledge of game play, and even quest points being an unreliable guide (I got pmed by someone I'd met the other day, asking where to find elves - I told him he needed to do Regicide. He said he'd done that, so I said maybe you need Roving Elves too. Hang on, he said, I'll check....yeah, I've done that one too. I checked - you bought that account, right? Yes, he admitted...) I guess if you want a proper multiplayer experience it's time to downshift, break out the miniatures and the d20 and play AD&D again... -
Mining and Rcing are boring too - but ultimately I do want to mine rune and craft laws...I just don't care if I have to walk there and take the long way round.... Currently pushing my agility to 53 so I can pot up and do Regicide. Round and round and round and round and round...

round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round bored yet?

Sorry, michiel2 - I don't know where you normally post, to have reached a post count of nearly 600, but I don't recognise your name - I have a pretty good visual memory too, but your avatar and sig ring no bells. So: 0/10 -
My rsn name is jiggeryqua and there's a 'jiggsbro' out there too! Mind, he is actually my twin... #-o

I'm struggling to find any clarity on this question on tip.it - but which teleports work at what levels of wilderness? And do any of them confound teleblock - I mean, does teleblocl only block spells, or also the lyre/ectophial/grand tree seed/jewellry etc? EDIT: Well, thanks for the replies - though there's precious little clarity there... Malhavok, tip.it claims the grand tree seed pod (gnome deliver reward) works up to level 30 wilderness, and I'm sure I've read of other items doing the same.

Since I've never had a barrows drop, a dragon drop or a black mask, and given that the rune chain I found the other day outside fally bank was not strictly a 'drop' (though I guess it must have been dropped...), then I'll have to say the adamant square shield I got after an inventory full of swordfish, fighting Pee Hat and Kraka on death plateau, so I can finally go do that irritating Uri treasure trail clue... ...fighting a lvl 108 in multicombat wildy? dang, this had better be a 3rd age reward...

Granite Mining, Now Harder To Powermine?
jiggeryqua replied to Seanthorn's topic in General Discussion
I was considering another short stint there myself (I find mining one of the most boring skills, so tend to use the desert site for a spot of power mining every now and then) - surely they could at least introduce an oasis or underground spring with a stand pipe, or a good few cactus so you can at least replenish the water you take without too much trouble? -
I can't give my sketches to safaalan - he just keeps telling me they 'don't look genuine'. Anybody have any idea what's going on? I stood on the sickle symbols, sketched each side in the right order - I have all three sketches, I'm back in the sewer ('up the ladder, down the ladder, over the washing line etc ') - everything according to the tip.it guide. I'm baffled.

Yes, there is there a gnome 'Patchy' :) (problem solved)

Woot! Yes, he does, thankyou.
