i cant download either one

i get most of my coal in general stores, as and when it turns up - and that's surprisingly often. cheap as chips...

so i'm playing pest control, fuming as usual at the sheer ignorance of some of the 'tactics' on display, when i ask someone to stop hitting brawlers and get the ravager that's about to unleash hell via the east gate - or what's left of it when a ravager's done ravaging. He replied that he had to hit brawlers, they were his slayer assignment - 500 of them. Surely not? can anyone confirm or deny that pest control critters are now available as slayer assignments?

I've sold two recently, but had a hard time doing it - list price is 100k, but I had to go to free worlds and take 40-50k for each in the end.

I wouldn't claim to be a master at Pest Control, but I did participate in a few winning games yesterday - then went back later and lost 12 in a row because of ignorant, arrogant children wasting their time and mine. If you ask them to close the gates (that one, at least, should be a fairly obvious tactic...) they leave them open while they rant about their right to do what they want..."you're not the boss of me". And then there's "Everyone go to west gate first!", as though they had a hope in hell of getting a boatload of players to agree to that - surely a boatload splitting east or west according to individual taste will give about half and half at each of the first two portals, more than enough to do the job. Unless, of course, they choose to hit irrelevant monsters rather than portals - another area where they won't take a telling... Oh, and: "Kill the spinners!" - no, don't! Just hit them once and then hit the portals. Maybe I should head over to 'Rants'....

and in one of my recent posts on this site, i ended with a typical english expression of stoic acceptance of an unwelcome and dull task, ie, "{aitch oh} hum"....which came up as "gardening implement hum"....

I also changed for Recruitment Drive and haven't bothered changing back - in fact, I'm kinda enjoying it....just went and got my basic clothes changed, and a haircut....hell, a girl has a right to look good...I never got the frogs before the change, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the princess dress than the prince outfit any day. I've only had a couple of "wanna be my gf?"s - that may or may not have something to do with my taking the opportunity to radically alter my skin colour while I was changing sex, who knows... Either way, I can't bring myself to gold dig when i can mine it. I asked my brother, who also plays, why on earth anyone would want an online gf (at my level I barely see the point of 'friends') - he gave much the same answer as shade: when you're 13, that's a score. Bizarrely, it still confuses me when NPC's address me as Madam etc.

Well it aint all that....I just tried to finish Pirate Pete subquest of RfD by cooking my fishcake on the lumby range. I have 54 cooking, the tipit guide says 31 is needed...and I 'accidentally' burned the fishcake. All the way back to Khazard, then...[garden tool] hum... (Isn't RfD the reason lumby is crowded right now? I made over 15k on an invent of newt eyes there on Friday...just accepting first offers...)

I did it too - first day as a member, wandered off to explore karamja in my shiny new rune... Poison??!! little green 11s flashing up as i ran round and round like a headless chicken...didn't even have any telerunes....got a free tele to lumbridge in the end... :cry:

Well, I never liked the Drunken Dwarf - but he has his uses...I just watched him continually punch someone in full rune, who didnt respond at all.... I figure they'd wandered away from their screen for a moment, thinking they'd be safe enough where they were... If it was you (and you woke up in Lumbridge short of some very tasty items :D ), get in touch - tell me where you were and what you were mostly carrying, and I'll let you have the best bits back... I had near enough a full load, so I only took the high-value items.
