Darrel104 Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 I'm guessing thats the restore partition of your HD judging from the majority of computers and RP at the end of the name, most likely standing for restore partition or something similar. Cruiser Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 It is the restore partition. Depending on how Compaq runs their restore utilities, it may or may not be needed. My HP laptop can be restored without a partition like that while my dad's laptop needs his. It's nothing malicious, the files are usually hidden to prevent any damage.
