I tried to do a mossy snowy rock effect with terragen after I made a landscape..

It's ok I guess... I like the 'idea' you were going for, and it's not too bad, but there are a lot of areas that could be improved... For example, the hills look a bit... Non-realistic... And the snow-moss thing looks a bit weird (probably could be put together better)... The mood/stacen is pretty relaxing, but yeh, you kinda feel it's just a bit too... Non-realistic-ish... Overall, it's 'ok'... 7/10...

ok, the first thing that is probaly the work part of the peice is the way the lterrain is. The hills are way too steep and just dont look like a real mountain. Try not to edit it up so much in the terrain editor because the editor isn't that good, and will give u results like this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The surface map isn't bad for a starter. I see that its what you wanted, and although it would look better if some bits of rock and dirt showed, it works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also the atmosphere seems a bit plain, work on that some. :)

as far as i know theres no undo button :cry: but i think surface masps good to start make the green darker it looks strange with light greeen on the top of alpine mountains :roll:

errr why the HELL is there moss on the snow? plis it continues into the water... :lol: maybe put thought into ur next peice
