While you may have improved, it's rather good character to not judge other peoples works as bad untill you've proven that your peices are at least good enough to sell. Untill we see the sig you are talking about, and unless it's a very big surprise, we know that your attemps do look just like Nacho's. Not trying to put you down or anything. Also, a good render doesn't nesscessarily take 3 days to make, it could take a hour, it could take a month.
