11 defence will only get your a small increase with the special, and it will go down over time - So i'd suggest you train you defence, (unless you're pure) or use the chaos altar or like you said, airs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Im not sure of your combat, but unless you're fast, every monster will attack you, and most likely hit you often.

Well if you make chaos runes, pure ess is about 106gp on average. So if you make them and sell them at about 140-150gp each on average, you'll make a small profit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How did you get 44 Rc in the first place? World 16 airs?

Its best to buy it, otherwise you are wasting time mining that you could be doing runs and making money on them.

No just made airs by myself and some other runes for stock, but I don't really want to do that again as it took so long

Or, you could use a Nature tally and have noted pure ess so you can sell it to the store near Brimhaven.

 

 

 

Takes along time, but its still probably safer than the abbys, and quicker than chaos.

I probably do a mix of airs, chaos and nats
