swan song quest help

Featured Replies

My main focus right now is getting my fishing skill raised so im thinking Monkfish would be quickest considering you can fish them sooner then shark and they give more xp then shark. Only problem being that i doubt i can take on a lvl 170, seeing as how my combat lvl is 54. My question is: can i get help from someone to defeat the lvl 170 and get credit for completing the quest ? I dont want to spend days upon days leveling up my combat stats, maybe runecrafting, and prayer just to make fishing easier. If i *cant* get help from another player i guess ill just stick with shark. But if anyone can help me, would anyone be willing to ?

And another question, i never read deeply into the combat system but it must get really scaled up after a certain point. Example... max combat lvl is what ? 124 ? and some monsters are lvl 400+ so what combat level would i need to be to solo that lvl 170 ^ ?

You can't have someone else help you with the boss battle. You're transported to a different area sort of, and others can't help you there.

I would think that at level 70 or 80 you could probablly take the level 170 pretty easily. But you may be able to do it at your level if you had enough prayer potions and the right protect prayers.
