I feel stupid asking this question butt when you die to a monster do you lose 3 of your expensive items or do you lose the last 3 items that you equiped or something cuz thats wat my friend told me and i didn't believe him at first.

You keep your most expensive items, but no their street price; there general store price.

This is only "shop value" though, for example, if you had a party hat in your inventory and you died, you would lose the party hat, as the shop value of it is only 1GP.

So if i had a rune scimmy with me and fought the dragon on the dragon slayer quest, i am more likely gonna keep the rune scimmy?

depends on what you have on you

The way it goes is that if you had 4 items in your inventory and you died (provided you werent skulled) you would keep the three most expensive.

 

 

 

For example, if you had a rune scimmi, a dragon long, a mithril platebody and a pile of ashes, the dragon long would be first, the rune scimmi second and the mithril pl8 3rd. You would lose the ashes.(boo-hoo)

 

 

 

If you have the "protect item" prayer on (level 25 prayer) you would keep those ashes(as im sure your thrilled) and lose nothing.

 

 

 

If you were skulled, you will lose everything. Unless you have the protect item. In which case, you will keep your most expensive item.(note. it does not work instantly. give it about 10 seconds and it should work.)
