How can i turn off mac filtering?

I bought a nintendo wii,(:P) and im trying to connect it to the internet, but when i do the agreement, it comes up with the error code 220602.

 

 

 

But thats not the point, i found one of the resoloutions is to do something with my mac filtering, but i cant find the option, so can anyone help me find the option so i can turn it off and/or input my wii code, so itll connect to the internet? ty :D

Hmmm Mac filtering.... Are you trying to connect though a wireless Airport Hub? I could not see how you would have to run your internet through a macintosh computer... Im not shure what you are saying really. I got a wii and just put in the code for my wireless express station and i was done.

I think you're taking the term 'Mac' a bit too literally. There are other meanings for 'Mac' beyond the Apple computer. Mac filters are used to allow or deny certain machines access to the network. Definition of mac addresses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back on topic, MAC filters generally aren't on by default. You should be able to find the MAC filter settings fairly easily once you've logged into your router.
