Libby, 56, was the only person charged in a three-year federal investigation that reached the highest echelons of the Bush White House. The central question in the probe was whether anyone in the administration illegally disclosed classified information during the late spring and early summer of 2003, when they told several journalists that an early critic of the Iraq war was married to undercover CIA officer Valerie Plame.

It's not like Cheney was the one who told Libby about Valerie Plame....Oh wait, that did happen. It's not like Cheney was expected to show up in court and then didn't because good old Scooter wanted to cover for Cheney. Oh wait, that happened too. And isn't this all just icing on the giant bs filled Iraq cake? Instead of a headline saying "Bush and Cheney Lied!" we get "Libby Found Guilty". It's all a distraction. People talk about "Prewar intelligence" but what they really mean is "Prewar stupidity."
