The "Destroy" option says you can get another by speaking to Osman in Al Kharid. No idea if he will charge you to replace it though.

Well I am thinking that if he lost it, he must have died with it. I doubt he dropped it if he wanted it back, so he must want it for some reason. But yeah, try Al Kharid, Osman.
