    Making sigs!
  1. I am very sorry people, but I don't really have the time to keep this shop open... I will finish the other sig as soon as possible, however.... I cannot at this time guarantee that I will finish any of the others.
  2. Meh I admit I'm terrible at drawing people..... Thought I might as well fix the red pixel though.
  3. Sigh.. you make the art before you make the thread, not after... >.
  4. Alright, so I attempted to make a sig using as few colors as possible: What do you people think?
  5. You like it? If not, tell me what I need to change
  6. I sincerely apologize for all teh delays... I have a lot of stuff going on right know(Had a few papers to write, ect. ect.) Your sig will be finished by tomorrow... I promise...

    Pixel WIP

Meh, pillow shading ain't all that great.. you need to angle it more... the lights coming from the bottom right on the hat, not dead center. Chest is alright though.
  8. ??? Sorry, I have to rein in my faithful thread hounds a bit. I am not taking requests at the moment, since I already have plenty to do. I usually don't do Runescape pixels, since they bore me, but I might still do it if I like your idea. Save your post somewhere, and resubmit it when I don't have as many pending requests. As for the clouds.. sigh what can I say. There's just so much you can do with the gradual shading of tones... If only I had just one more color but... there you go. a thousand pardons Ms. Unolexi! *bows* My only interest is to protect this glorious shop! Hehe  Did you caption that yourself? If so, a dog biscuit for you! *hands dog biscuit*
  9. Well... you see, ripping is a touchy subject. Different people have different opinions on what constitutes ripping. Here in the gallery, your artwork must be at least 50% your own. Slapping a halo render on top of a C4D is not using 50% of your own work. Render sig making is more than C4ds and renders-it is a mix of careful composition, effects, and brushes to achieve a particular effect. We are not trying to upset you or hurt your feelings by saying these things. Now, I'd suggest you study your medium more before calling yourself a pro, even if its only a joke. Sarcasm simply doesn't work well on the Nets.

  11. Sorry, you people must think I have fallen off the face of the earth! Well, here's a WIP, if you're still out there... Do you.. like it? Its partially an experiment, a challenge if you will. I can only use ten colors, you see. If you don't like it, please say so and I'll do it "the old way".
  12. ...and I thank both thee for doing meh job of keeping the spam posters outside mah thread for meh! I lurves praise. Thankees. :D
  13. Where did he say it was a conventional pixel? Where did he say it wasn't? I was just saying that using the spray can tool is a bit lazy, and that the result is, 9 times out of ten, low quality. It's like digipainting-you could easily get the same effect by just hitting the oil paint button, but the result is often poor and blurry. Its okay for you to like it just as its okay for me to not like it.
  14. Did you seriously just ignore everything that was posted in the last two pages? :shame:
  15. The *smacks with newspaper* thing isn't meant to be mean or anything. It's just my sense of humor-sorry if it offended you. As for the "positive" critique... I don't point out the faults of an image to be elitist or to "bash people's art". I have a certain view of criticism, you see. I can stand here all day picking through your image to find things you did well, but is that really going to help you? Well... not really. Usually, you'll simply end up repeating the exact same thing you did before! Thus, I point out the mistakes you made so you can improve on those areas. Of course, if I see something you did especially well then I'll mention that, but glossing over your errors to make you feel better about yourself is a waste of both your time and mine. In my opinion, if you can stand for your work to be utterly picked apart by your peers then you shouldn't post it. There is a difference between saying "it sucks" and telling why you think it sucks though...
