They ruined the music for me :( My sound card uses high quality samples of real music instruments for midi song (the format used by runescape) and now that they are using their own samples instead of whatever your computer has they sound cheesey and cartoony to me. I want an option to turn off their samples and use my sound cards samples :evil:

I have the same problem, I can't hit the lvl 191 at all. I thought a Dragon Battle Axe would be good enough, but apparently not. I tried all the attack styles, but nothing :x It's Damis all over again for me, he took me 3 months before I found a weapon that I could hit him with. I can see this taking me months trying to find a weapon for this new monster.

Whats so amazing about this mod is that her skills show that she hasn't played long (can anyone confirm the 2 month thing?), so it insane that Jagex would come to trust someone like this so early. You should really think about what you are saying before you post something. I have met hundreds of players in this game who never fight. They play the game because they like to socialize with other people and do things like cook, farm, cut trees, etc. I met one level 3 who has been playing for just under 2 years and spends all her time cooking/fishing and talking with friends. Just because you play the game one way does not mean everyone else does also. rofl? wow. i never said i played the game one way, and i didnt even hint at it... i dont even know where u pulled that out from. by society in runescape, id say its safe to say its just a little bit different from real life :roll: . by rs society is what people get banned for\whats safe to say, etc. really, what you said made absolutely no sence, and i never hinted at that. that was really random and... um... illogical? i didnt mean talking about friends and doing combat. i meant whats allowed and what isnt, beyond no cussing. and how people behave and whats abusive. im not talking about strict laws, im talking about the certain ways people behave ingame, and you need to know that to become a mod. also for your "Just because you play the game one way does not mean everyone else does also", why dont you tell that to every, single person in the game with a combat stat above 1 (excluding hp). its kind of obvious that combat expands the game and provides horizons. its not a way to play, its an option. mabye you should think before you post? I'm assuming from your reply that you either can't read or understand English very well, so I will reword what I said. When I say you play the game one way I mean that you have your way of playing and other people have their way of playing. You choose to use combat, others don't. I also never mentioned anything about runescape society or real life. So please tell me exactly where you got that from in my post? As for needing to know "about the certain ways people behave ingame," to become a mod, that is a bunch of bs. All you need to know is what Jagex's rules are and how they want people to play. Jagex determinea who will be a player mod 2 ways: by the number of rule breakers they catch, and by the number of recommendations from other players/player mods.

And then once you have done that and your Dad finds out, he will simply take away you computer. Do you really think your Dad is going to block it and not make sure it stays blocked? If I were you I would find a friend who's parents allow him to play and see if you can use their computer once in a while. DON'T us a public computer (library, school) since there is a very high chance it will be loaded with viruses, spyware and keyloggers.

Not lazy, many people are incredibly bad typers. I've been typing for 25 years and still can't get past 30 wpm with a couple of spelling mistakes / minute. Just go into any bank on a crowded world and see how many people make multiple spelling mistakes over and over :lol:

take more than 20 seconds to think through a reply plz cause if the macroing continues, the runescape economy will crash and the game wont be fun. would you like that? effin *... I personally would love that to happen, so all the little pea brained morons who play this game only to collect more money than the other player will get POed and quit, leaving the rest of us, who actually play the game for fun and use all the skills available to get everything we need on our own, to play the game in peace.

The sticky idea is good, but as mentioned before it would make reading hard in a crowded area. So how about instead of displaying the entire "sticky" message, a special symbol like a glowing $ would appear over the players head. I see it working like this: When they first type the "sticky" message it would appear over their head for the same amount of time a regular message does. Then it would change to the special symbol and when you move the mouse over the player you would see their message. Moving the mouse away would change the message back to the special symbol.

Both, ever since Christmas both the wesite and the game have had troubles. The web servers and game servers all need to be updated.

No it's not just you. Jagex really needs to upgrade their servers. Ever since the Christmas update they have been running slow or not at all, now their website doesn't seem to work anymore. After this last update it took over half an hour for the updated game to download :shock:

I had completely forgotten there was a cooking guild :shock: The first and only time I used it was when I got to a high enough level to get in. My thoughts at the time were "what a waste of space, this is supposed to be a reward?".

This has been suggested before and it just won't work. People who get scammed, get scammed because they are in too much of a hurry to do a trade. Making them wait will only frustrate them and make them click on the accept button constantly until the trade is accepted. There is absolutely no way to force these kinds of people to look at the second screen. They are careless and will continue to be careless no matter what is added to the game.
