Difficulty: Easy

Length: Short

Start Point: Talk to King Roald in the Varrock Palace

[hide=Requirements]Skill-Wise:

Level 46 Firemaking

Quest Wise:

Pirest In Peril[/hide]

[hide=Items Required]Tinderbox

45 of any log that you can burn (Note that there are 3 loads, two of 20 and one of 5, each load must be the same, but it can be like this: 1st load, normal logs, 2nd other kind, 3rd other kind, just make sure the logs in each load are the same (Not like 10 oak and 10 normal for the first one, etc.)[/hide]

[hide=Items Suggested]Spirit Bird Pouch (Level 52 Summoning, it's used to recharge run energy you have to use scrolls for it)[/hide]

[hide=Guide]You have agreed to help King Roald to test the beacon network, a quick warning system between Misthalin and Asgarnia, in case either of them gets attacked by Morytania or the Wilderness. Go to a bank and get 20 of any log that you can burn then head to River Salve (Where the Paterdomus is, keep going east, use the Rag And Bone Man Quest Start point as a reference, go there then keep going east you should be there) After reaching the Paterdomus, go a bit south from it and talk with Blaze Sharpeye

After talking to him you'll get information about the beacon, fourteen in total that are used to warn Misthalin and Asgarnia if Morytania or the Wilderness attack them, there is also a mini map icon for the beacons. After talkin to him you have to use logs on the beacon then light it up with your tinderbox. Please notice that you'll need 20 of the same type of log to burn the beacon and that in the fist quest days it'll be nearly impossible to get them by choping so bring them already.

After burning the beacon you will be asked to burn a second one, north east of the Rag and Bone Man Quest Start Point, so get 20 more logs and head there, talk to Squire Fyre before burning the beacon. Burn it then Squire will tell you to report back to Blaze, do so and he will ask you to make his beacon's fire alive again. You need 5 logs for this. Add them talk to Blaze (Laugh if you want when you see him talking about setting things on fire). Go talk to Kind Roald.

Congratulations, Quest Done![/hide]

For lighting 6 beacons at once, you get the Ring of Fire (I'm not sure what it does yet, but I'm off to try and figure it out!)

EDIT: Looks like the Ring of Fire gives slightly more exp for every log you burn (I burned one normal log and got 41 exp instead of 40). I also burned a few willows and got 91.8 exp instead of 90.
