Getting experienced now, and runs go smooth. Also finally got my first drop, post containing run 24.

This will be a blog about my barrow runs, both for myself to keep track of what I get, for you to see, and maybe some of you can take advantage of the way I do barrows - who knows:)

The reason I do barrows is that it is good fun, can be profitable and that I want to get some barrow items myself, as that saves me from buying them later on.

Here is a picture of which gear I use while doing barrows - I will explain it under the picture. I know many people probably find the gear I use silly, but this is not a guide, it is how I do it ;) If anyone has tips on how to make it cheaper or faster though, tips are welcome, but no flaming, please! :shame: My stats are in the sig.

Head: Dragon med helm

Back: Obsidian cape

Neck: Amulet of Glory

Ammo: Tarromin tar

Weapon: Red salamander*

Chest: Dragon chainbody

Shield: None, salamander is 2h

Legs: Dragon platelegs

Hands: Combat bracelet

Feet: Dragon boots

Finger: I usually use a ring of life just in case. In this pic it's a ring of wealth**, simply because I forgot to change.

*I will move to black salamander soon, as I am nearly 70 range and magic

**Ring of wealth does NOT improve chances of barrows equipment from the chest!

Rest of inventory: tele tab, spade, dragon dagger(p++), 1 stat mix, 4 prayer potions(4)(I usally don't use more than 3, but just in case), and rest tunas.

I use prayer on all the brothers still, as I'm new to barrows, and I always kill them in this order:

Dharok

Guthan

Karil

Verac

Torag

Ahrim

I find Dharok the easiest, as long as he is in his crypt, and not in the tunnel, and I'm not sure wether I find Karil or Ahrim the worst, as they seem to resist more of my salamanders attacks.

I know the kill count affects what kind of items you get, and with kill count: 6, you have the highest chance of getting barrows equipment. Therefore, I always open the chest at kill count: 6

As I update this blog, and do more barrow runs, I will keep posting what I get from the chest, and which of the 6 brothers I faced in the tunnels:

1st run: 96 chaos runes, 146 death runes, 1500 coins. Tunnel: Dharok

2nd run: 126 chaos runes, 2000 coins. Tunnel: Dharok

3rd run: 134 chaos runes, 2132 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

4th run: 591 mind runes, 160 death, 136 chaos, 1200 coins. Tunnel: Ahrim

5th run: 133 chaos runes, 1868 coins. Tunnel: Karil

6th run: 241 chaos runes, 2000 coins. Tunnel: Verac

7th run: 557 mind runes, 125 chaos runes, 1400 coins. Tunnel: Ahrim

8th run: 244 chaos runes, 70 death runes, 2116 coins. Tunnel: Ahrim

Gonna have a new go tonight. But first, I gotta kill some cave slimes to get swamp tar. Swamp tar is required to make tarromin tar, which is the "ammo" for the red salamander. Afterwards I'm gonna make some prayer potions.

Hope I get some barrows equipment today, after 8 dry runs yesterday. Will post pics if I get!:)

Only did three runs tonight, so have done 11 in total now. I'll keep them in order from run one, first day, not start counting for each night I do this. So here's tonights drops - gotta get lucky soon:

9th run: 649 mind runes, 263 chaos runes, 1254 coins. Tunnel: Torag

10th run: 1157 mind runes, 72 death runes, 902 coins. Tunnel: Torag

11th run: 121 chaos runes, 2358 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

Luck will change, but not tonight. It's late here now, so going to bed.

3 more runs completed. I'm getting better and better at this. I tend to only use 2,5-3 prayer potions now, from almost 4 to start with. Still havent got lucky. It has to come soon, I'm counting on it.

Here are todays drops:

12th run: 130 chaos runes, 2600 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

13th run: 374 chaos runes, 71 death runes, 968 coins. Tunnel: Torag

14th run: 894 mind runes, 380 chaos runes, 71 death runes. Tunnel: Ahrim

Soon a week passed, 17 runs completed, and still no barrows drop. Quite demoralizing, but I will keep up! Here are tonights rewards - probably the worst ones I've ever had:

15th run: 328 mind runes, 266 chaos runes, 2090 coins. Tunnel: Verac

16th run: 312 mind runes, 2028 coins. Tunnel: Ahrim

17th run: 906 mind runes, 127 chaos runes, 1350 coins. Tunnel: Torag

I must be one piece of evil man. Or totally out of luck. 20-streak-nothing now. Still hopes are up!

18th run: 313 mind runes, 135 chaos runes, 73 death runes, 1092 coins. Tunnel: Torag

19th run: 566 mind runes, 72 death runes, 1782 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

20th run: 267 mind runes, 117 chaos runes, 1770 coins. Tunnel: Torag

Total after 20 runs:

Mind runes: 6540

Worth in coins: 6540*9= 58860

Chaos runes: 3522

Worth in coins: 3522*89= 313458

Death runes: 663

Worth in coins: 663*289= 191607

Coins dropped: 30420

coins total: 594345

I knew luck would change. I finally, finally got barrows equipment from the chest. It took 24 runs. Let's hope they're not all as slow. Even though I did'nt get a really valuable item, it felt like it was a d chain:p Really exciting to actually get my first barrows drop:D I'll keep the item, need that set anyway^^

21st run: 810 mind runes, 120 chaos runes, 1096 coins. Tunnel: Dharok

22nd run: 283 mind runes, 385 chaos runes, 73 death runes, 744 coins. Tunnel: Torag

23rd run: 330 mind runes, 124 chaos runes, 1872 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

24th run: 86 chaos runes, 71 death runes, 1634 coins, VERAC'S BRASSARD! Tunnel: Torag

During run 24 I found out that I was being scammed as I played, so I did'nt think of getting a screen shot. I'll post one later though! When my account is unlocked again... It's under investigation at the moment :(

25th run: 318 mind runes, 114 chaos runes, 1632 coins. Tunnel: Verac

26th run: 636 mind runes, 249 chaos runes, 986 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

27th run: 636 mind runes, 247 chaos runes, 1380 coins. Tunnel: Guthan

28th run: 312 mind runes, 248 chaos runes, 1216 coins, TORAG's HELM. Tunnel: Dharok
