Hello there,

I'm in need of help at slayer training.

Stats:

https://gyazo.com/a1a7287046848961f65cfe09e7ea781f

First of what gear is good to use? I only have about 4.7mil. Quests is limited. Stats not that great.

I normally use:

Melee: Full dragon armor + obsidian cape + Berserker ring + Whip/Toktz-ket-xil.

Mage: Batwing + Mystic staff + Berserker ring + Obsidian cape.

Ranged: Royal d'hide + Rune crossbows + Berserker ring + Obsidian cape.

Anything I can upgrade?

Also what should I go for with slayer? Like Slayer helmet worth using? I only have a spiny helmet...

Thanks for everything.

Yes, you should always use a slayer helmet on task. If you don't have it, making it should be your first priority as you earn points/money. It provides a bonus in both accuracy and damage when fighting slayer monsters.

For melee weapon a godsword is an improvement as a 2h weapon generally clears out slayer mobs faster due to it being able to hit multiple targets with the 2h abilities. If you don't have the money to buy one I would be happy to lend you my SGS if that'll help.

Batwing is only t30 armor, so you can do much better for magic defense. Mystic would be the best nondegradable at your level, or grifolic for slightly better defense (but it will degrade back to dust I think). Similarly there is a grifolic wand/orb (or abyssal wand/orb) if you want to upgrade magic weapon.

For ranged you have the best armor available at your level. However a better (affordable) choice of weapon might be a black salamander, as it's t70 and will have much improved accuracy over rune c'bows. There are better weapons (armadyl c'bows, zaryte bow, etc.) but they are more expensive.

A good next investment would be a blood fury, though it is rather expensive and requires upkeep.

How do I create this helm? quick google search says I have to complete a quest and have 55 crafting?

Only have 4.7mil and dont know how to make money so im going all in to level slayer to see if that will make me some money.

Whats this degrade? And is the items worth it? And how do I nondegrade it?

For the helm you need the spiny helmet, earmuffs, nose peg, face mask, and black mask, and then I think a focus sight and hexcrest if you want the bonuses for ranged and magic. You need to have spent the 400 slayer points for the ability as well. I think you may need to do the quests as well, though as I recall they don't have that challenging requirements, just something to maybe try if you get bored. So I guess it is a tad pricey when you add it all up but it is a one-off thing.

Generally higher level equipment degrades, either to dust or to a state where you can repair it to coins. From the perspective of slayer weapons may be worthwhile as it speeds things up substantially, or if it is the best available for a few more levels and if you need extra defense. For example, there is mystic armor (nondegradable), subjugation (also nondegradable and better but expensive and 70 defense), and grifolic in between which does degrade. I did not do much slayer at lower combat levels so I am not familiar with how much defense you need to farm your slayer tasks with a reasonable level of efficiency - mystic may be sufficient, you would have to try it out.

For sure buy a godsword (any, bandos is cheapest, but sara is best), for ranged, you can use a black salamder or a royal crossbow if you think you can kill QBD, and mage, a wand of treachery with the highest level off hand is your best bet

You could try crafting 2x cosmics which might be a little more money: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making_guide/Crafting_cosmic_runes . You'll probably end up with a little less since you don't have the agility level for the shortcuts.

Assuming you haven't completed the Elder Kiln quest, you can use ring of kinship or a clan vexillum to bank instead.

You can also take advantage of dailies like making vis wax and buying broad arrowheads (after Smoking Kills) and reselling to make a little more money.

Other than that I can't think of a whole lot off the top of my head. You can check wiki's general page here for ideas but a lot of them have high requirements/high combat levels to do: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making_guide .

Since when was batwing a tier 30? I always thought batwing was t50..

An update on 23 November switched the requirements of Batwing and Mystic. Prior it was indeed T50, afterwards Mystic is the T50 armour and Batwing became T30.
