Mage-88 HP-82 Str-80 Def-80 Range-80 Att-77 Prayer-70 Summoning-56 Using full guthans, mystic boots, adamanite gloves (haters gonna hate :( ) slayer staff, granite shield, and guthix cape for now. Pretty welfare, I need to make some cash :(. Will use slayer dart till I can afford CoG. PM Ingame @ Ever is pro or post here, looking to go today if possible.

Can I really solo rex effectively?

Would it be viable to level mage 88-99 using purely slayer while making a profit/breaking even? I'm not sure what spell/equipment to use, so it'd be great if someone would suggest what to use. Also, I assume the dungioneering necklace would greatly help, so would be the easiest way to get the required level? I have no clue how to do anything with the skill as I just came back from a 3-4 months break. Uploaded with ImageShack.us My stats I got about a 5m bank if I sell everything so...not much of a bank to work with.

I've been away for a few months and just came back. I was thinking of a f2p pure to screw around with and decided upon a range tank. I heard that with longbow sights, a range tank is very very good? Would you be able to pk effectivley with stats as low as 20-30 def and 40-50 range? If not, what is a better goal to shoot for?

Any suggestions on armor/spell to use? First off, it's not a stupid idea, plenty of people train mage here, it's fun, AFKable, and breaks even for the most part. Depends what spell your using for the exp, what spell would you use? Last time I trained, I used the fire chaos spell with chaos gaunts, but that was quite awhile ago, a year or more I think...so I'm pretty clueless atm :smile:

I'm bored and I want a monster that I can afk pretty well at without having to check back too often. I also wanted to level mage a bit so...I figured metal dragons. Now, let's just say I don't get a visage: Would I break even from all the rune/dragon drops? About how much exp/hour will I be looking at? And last, is this just a stupid idea? lol.

I like to hop for my own sake-I like the quietness and the advantage of having the whole spawn to myself. That chaos druid spawn is rather small imo, I can't train there with another player and get the same rates as if I was alone.
