Need Sony Vegas Pro 9 Help Please!

(0 reviews)

Well, for a german project I need to add a rainbow and some clouds into the back of a video using sony vegas 9. I thought it would be easy but I cant figure it out. How would I go about doing it? I just basically need to get the image on top of the video, without disrupting it.

Have you tried looking on YouTube for tutorials? That's how I learned a lot of what I know in Vegas.

If the rainbow and clouds are static images, then make them transparent (requires a piece of photo editing software, can't use paint) and drag them into a video track (I believe that the initial layer, i.e. the one the video is on, is the top layer, but I may be incorrect). If they are in video format, then use the chroma keyer and adjust the tracks so that the rainbow & clouds are on top.

I tried vulxai, and I can't find anything.

How would you make them transparent? Could you help me?

If they are images, then sure. Just upload them to imageshack in as good quality as you can and I'll get to work on them.
