Rune Labs Discussion
Jagex should give out offences for blatant and flagrant misuse of RuneLabs (such as a ban on using it for a set amount of time etc.) The amount of 'Get rid of EOC' that has appeared on RLs is sad, and the fact that no search function exists is basically just making it pointless or useless to suggest anything (as well as not being able to support anything yet). The guy who suggested 2400+ total kind of hit the nail on the head (though I don't think disallowing players based on total level is appropriate), in that there needs to be some deterrent for shit/spammy ideas, bans/offences could help.

They could time-limit the editing, such as up to 1 hour after posting. That would mitigate that problem to a degree.

Rune Labs Discussion
You can make a forum thread with the full idea, and then put a summary in there and link to said thread if you'd like. :) I saw that, but having now seen the amount of crap already permeating RuneLabs, and the fact that Jagex won't read forum threads (via RuneLabs) until an idea becomes popular already gives it two barriers. The idea is sound at least (in my opinion). They do need to add an edit button to RuneLabs though.

This is my proposed idea. Frankly 2000 characters isn't enough to give a well fleshed out idea. Though I guess it is meant to be a seed, with Jagex getting the ultimate artistic freedom... https://[LikelyScam]/m=player-proposal/c=Ee4imGn6AQ8/view-idea?idea=2563

Clavicle pain
I get this when I do dips. I would advise against doing them if it causes you 'pain'. Some people can do dips perfectly with no pain, some can't.

"CrossFit" Gym to Train the Agility Skill
As long as they use real CrossFit exercises, I'd be all for this.

So, to try it out, I said 'Hosting h/c x2', with no-one around, just outside of ports, on w48 (the 2400+ total world). Muted for 24 hours. Last mute was 4 years ago. All I can say is good. Thank christ for that - a genuinely good update from Jagex. Edit: See above. No offences for 4 years, muted for 24 hours for that one line. It's against the rules, get used to it.

The Self-Development Thread
I guess this comes under self-improvement. I've spent the last year teaching myself French, and done pretty well (fluency in reading). I've started learning Spanish, and will likely move onto German or Italian afterwards (though I think I will only do reading and listening comprehension). Working as a translator is well paid, and to me, interesting. I've done a few small bits freelance, but turning it into a job would be beneficial, because it's something I really enjoy (I realise that sitting in an office turning one language into another isn't particularly riveting, but I enjoy deconstructing and understanding the deeper nuances of language). At a base rate, working as a translator for the EU/UN, you can make around £4,000 per year at junior level, moving up to around £13,000+ at senior level. Of course, the opportunity to get to this level requires years of practice. In general, I would recommend learning a second language (or third, fourth, etc). You never know when it will come in handy.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
There's no money to train construction atm, plus I guess collecting all the planks needed isn't a priority, until more people get their woodcutting up (at least then, anyway). Glad to see that Jebrim is beating up Agility in the new old RuneScape servers.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
I'm sorry that you're a little buttfrustrated, but the fact of the matter is that other people have opinions, and unfortunately for those like you, people often have DIFFERENT opinions. I could call everyone who wants 2007-scape back a 'fascist EOC-hater who wants a purposefully crippled form of RS so they can live out their childhood again' (and also Selfish, if they're placing their wants above those of others, guess what, that makes you selfish too). But, I'm actually not concerned with that. If people want it, good for them. I don't care for it, so I'm not going to vote. I'm not going to stop others from voting.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
I started in 2008, and to be quite honest, I have no interest whatsoever in playing '2007scape'. If 'care' could be measured in atoms, my care for this would be equal to about a quarter of an electron (with 100 atoms meaning 100%) I'm not going to vote, except if the numbers are getting close to a new level.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
E-penis. To some, that is most important. On a related note, I'm concerned that my Port score number is small, can anyone recommend some size improving techniques?

What did you do today?
I've done a lot of gripwork in the past year or so - it's mainly because my part-time job requires lifting heavy stuff with little to no grip - but I figure that the amount we use our hands during the day, having some extra strength wouldn't hurt. Plus, doing double overhand deadlifts has become much easier - I've noticed that a lot of people complain that their fingers give out before their bodies do, whereas my body gives out before my hands do. (The hub and pinch block however aren't for that type of grip - I'm trying to induce some muscle growth for my thumb. I've worked crushing grip a lot, but my thumb is relatively weak.)

What did you do today?
Got some new training equipment - A 69mm hub and a 76mm pinch block. It's very humbling to try a 20kg lift with the hub, only to find it be a complete struggle. Managed 17.5kg in plates with the loading pin, carabiner and hub itself weighing around 1.5kg, so 19kg total. Hoping to get some quick gains - 20kg by the end of the month would be nice. For reference, this is a 'hub': [hide] [/hide]
