Today I was chopping ivy behind Varrock castle and having a nice chat with another player. Eventually the topic rolled around to wealth and the other player (who was a lower level than me) was astounded at my "whopping" 20M in the bank. He began to ask me for various tips on money making so I did my best to help out with my lacking knowledge as I've only recently returned to 'Scaping. Then he jokingly asked for 100k (he said he was kidding afterwards) and without a word I went to the bank and returned and gave him 500k with no explanation.

Now it was at this point that I expected him to just take it without any gratitude (as would have happened usually in the RS community) but he immediately couldn't stop thanking me. It wasn't even a substantial gift on my part but the response I got made it worth it.

I thought this was interesting and makes me want to give the RS community another chance. Perhaps it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Now make some full iron armor and give it to the newbs in Lumby. It's always fun to do.

There is some good in the RS community, but be careful who you give cash out to. I used to do frequent drop party's of about 2m in worth, drop some barrows and dragon stuff around the ge and such with a big final prize such as a dragon mask, even dropped a whip once (back when they were worth something). At first it was all in good fun, people ran around madly and thanked me afterwords and so I kept doing them, one a day. After the first two or so people actually started complaining cus they didn't get enough from a free drop party or I was being 'cheap' and not dropping enough stuff. Some of them even reported me for scamming tho how me dropping stuff at the ge is a scam ill never know. Even some of the people I would have called friends that i met doing drop party's started ignoring me when I tried to talk to them cus I didn't tell them I was doing a drop party.

but on the other hand I met several now good friends from doing that so I guess you win some you loose some.

There's me rambling again... Sorry its a habit of mine.

Well that's just one of the things that happened to me.
