I agree though. If you call someone a name for calling you a name, it doesn't justify anything really, you just continue arguing and fighting. You might as well end the fight with something meaningful instead of a, "You suck leave me alone".

The feeling that is gone now consists of many things, as I am a RSC player, and have been playing Runescape for 6 years. - No more nap time =( -Firemaking is useful for only quests and the cape now. Before, it was used as a way of cooking meat in the cold, harsh world. People still use it for cooking on F2P, but mainly use a range now. -Business in the Blue Moon Inn. I remember people would charge me to enter the BMI, cause I wanted a beer, or else they'd report me. I always snuck through the back entrance though :P. -Businesses in the Cooking Guild. Same thing as above, except it was a bakery. -The biggest accomplishment of the game: completing Dragon Slayer. Once Elvarg was slain, you'd leave and enter a crowd of cheering level 60s-70s. -The feeling of not knowing your way around. There was no World Map or anything. You had to explore everything on your own, and it was actually an adventurous game. Some more, but those are some I feel were taken away from the game.

I'd like to know how everyone personally feels. I don't want something someone else said, unless they asked you to say it, and it comes with your own opinion. But anyways. How do you feel about this? In my opinion, there is no point in lending rares. In today's Runescape society, the point of rares, is either to show hard work and dedication, or to show off your veteran status, which I doubt anyone with a rare, excluding a couple, have had the same rare for years to come. But back on topic. When people borrow rares, it's emanating a false statement to everyone: I have a rare, bow down to me. Then they get immense attention, because they are a magical level 3 with a partyhat. No, it's a lie created by him and a friend or someone willing to lend a partyhat for free, to try to trick people into thinking they are a rich skiller. Conclusion: Rare shouldn't be lendable. It benefits the borrower, none, and just is a waste of time. What do you think?

Buy a glory. Work for a Rune Defender as well, they are really helpful. Dragon boots and/or Climbing Boots are good to have. Ring, I'd say use a RoW, unless you are going for dragon drops, because it reduces dragon drop chance.

I can tell you in my 5 years of playing, at 107 combat, I have never gotten a drop better than a Dragon Dagger (p) (When they were around 65k). Even at my level, were I to receive anything worth over 1m as a drop, I would probably flip [cabbage] and post it on the ratings forum as well. If you don't want to look at them, the answer is simple: Don't look at them. Last time I checked, this is the Tip.It forum, not the Skully_Sc.IT forums. You don't have an admin priviledge, and you're not Andrew Gower, so it's not up to you to decide what is or isn't a 10/10 achievement. If players decide to rate it 10 to be nice to the kid, so be it, and last time I checked there wasn't an asterisk on the membership benefits saying *Note: Your ability to enjoy certain members benefits may change based on how other player's perceive you as 'wasting their time'" Of course, if you can point that out to me, it'd be grand. It's elitists like you that take your own accomplishments and set it as a universal standard for others to follow. It is elitists like you who have contributed to this game's player base being seen as nothing but arrogant children. And to SirHartlar, once again, If it took them two hours to kill one single Rex, they would still have just as much of a right to be there as you had. They pay their 5-7 dollars a month, and I doubt they paid to deal with other player's problems. And to be honest, if someone fought for 20 minutes straight and got an expensive item out of it, I'd like to think they were working very hard at their goal. If anything, they deserve it more than someone who can just rush in and say "Hey, DK? Bam, dead. Number 2? Bam, dead. Number 3? Bam, dead" and so on and so forth. Like I already said, even at 107 combat and 71 slayer, a dragon dagger (p) is still a great trip. A 600k piece? A godsend. 1.7m piece of armor? Heh, I don't bury bones so I don't get Gravedigger. I have all mime emotes, but lost my mime costumes, I have like 20 tokens/frog sets in the bank. I have gotten like 4000 gems in total in my years of playing since RE's. And tons more... And what's with the plants. They grow on concrete, and just about anywhere. Also Molly can't even identify her own twin... Evil Bob likes to torture me for some reason, and Prison Pete can never do jack in there.

You must not understand. You care very much, otherwise you wouldn't be fired up when someone get's good ratings on a good first drop, and get a 10/10. No matter how easy it is, it's an accomplishment that can only be executed when you kill the Dagganoth Kings. All of the drops are considered easy to you, because they all have the same requirements: Kill the Dagganoth Kings. You can get any drops from them, rare or non-rare and you have to kill the DK's. It's no different if you got a good drop or not, you have to kill the same DK's. And that's pretty low giving first timers a low rating on something they worked hard on. It's polite to do, whether it's hard or not.

Sigh, why are <13 allowed. This just ruins everyone's fun and all that. Plus the age thing is too easy to pass, which is the bad thing.

It's based off turns which is the bad part. It should be based off damage, so lower levels tend to LS with higher levels, but still have some aspects of the "turns" way.

If you cancel it, it should cancel it for the next assignment as well. Though there is an option to cancel and not receive again, but it shouldn't make it come in a different amount.

Im not flaming im ranting, thats what this forum is for. No I didn't say that, i'm just saying it's pretty pathetic. You're flaming players of the game. Not any aspect of this game or anything game related. You are upset that people get lucky drops on their first kill, which is not any fun but it's how the drop system works. Don't flame players if you aren't going to bother even putting in a rant that has something to do with the game. And who cares if people say 10/10 for a D wc axe. It's not "easy" to get and I'm sure you have to go a few runs to get it. Please stop trying to act like you are a veteran at this and acting superior to players.
