I must admit this is the first time I see someone saying "congratz" to someone's birthday. :roll:

You should have your page a minimum of 779 pixels wide (100% of the width for all resolutions is best of course). And it doesn't really look like a website layout, it looks more like 2 pictures to me.

Like that, but I prefered when the notebook was at the place like your first try. And the guy on the right side doesn't inspire me much. And still waiting for other people to try. If you think you're going to try, just post here. ;)

That background is great. And for the text, do exactly like the text on the first banner. But put the inside of letter in black, and around the letters white. And Peter that image thing would be a pain because dimentions won't always be the same. Ok, so I'm waiting for other people to try. :)

Yeah, I'm doing my site in PHP already. That's a very interesting thing I did not think of (putting a quote on the banner). That's a great try. I am not completely sure about the background, with the country flags. Perhaps because I'll mainly talk about local politics. So maybe another background? Or none. And I think you have a kind of "pattern" I would like for the banner, like an item on the left and alabrie.com on it. (Others feel free to try other patterns though). I like the notebook item, nice idea. Maybe another item could be better though? I liked the font, and smaller .com. Overall I like the pattern, and especially the random quote thing. Nice try, already that's a kind of banner I'd be willing to put on my site.

Like my current sig sorta? That was made by a friend of mine with 3ds max I think.

Well I was looking for more than only the text, but thanks for trying. Just post when you'll have yourself another try. :) One thing I forgot to say in my first post (and I am going to edit it). No animations.

What is modeling? And for myself I think pixel art looks really bad and not professionnal. I don't like the style, it doesn't catch my eye at all. The somehow "kid" style pixel art gives to the images really bothers me. Tastes are in nature I guess.

First of all, I'd like to say that the only thing I've ever known was abstract. And I also always had my website banners in abstract. But I looked into some topic and I noticed a new kind of art (maybe very old actually, but new to me), which is minimalistic art.. well at least I believe that's how it is called. And so I would like to have my banner in that kind of art. Here are the two images that made me discover that kind of art (both in a contest in the media board). - By Keiphus - By Ryan So I want two minimalistic banners, but this topic is only going to be about the first of the two banners. Once I buy the first banner, I will start a new topic for the second one. Alright enough chit chat. I want the banner to be 779 pixels wide maximum (it can be pretty much any width below this, I'm just stating the maximum). And 100 pixels high (that one you have to respect). The banner's background can be full (like Ryan's picture), and it can be just a simple color background (like Keiphus). I would prefer it to have a plain color background, it would make it easier for me and probably look better with the whole layout. A white background like Keiphus' would be good. Now what should be on it? Your choice, but I can give you some ideas by describing what the website is going to be about. My website will be a personnal website with games on it, writings (poems/short stories), quotes, politics, news, and a forum. The website domain is most likely going to be alabrie.com (which is the first letter of my first name and then my family name, nothing special..). The forum will be to talk about politics and news and all that but also for me just to keep contact with all my friends. So since the website is going to be about a lot of subjects it's hard to tell what you should make. I want you to make the banner about the whole theme of the website, not only one part of it. I mean by this, don't go putting up a book and a pencil on it and a poem written since this would only reflect the writings part of the website. Don't go putting politician faces and a couple country flags because this would only reflect the politics part of the website. Don't go putting Mario Bros. and pokemons because it would only reflect the games part of the website (I won't be having those games btw :P). Anyways you get the idea.. You can just use your imagination and create something nice. The games on my website is just something aside from the rest, it's not really part of the website theme. Just something for people to cool off. So just use your imagination, something related to my website theme somehow (writings, quotes, politics, news, forum for my friends, etc.). Well I guess I want this closed, I've been rethinking about the whole thing.. I said I wanted an abstract banner because that's basically the only thing I knew. But I've seen about a new kind of art now, and might be interested to have my banner in this type so watch for a new topic of mine probably tomorrow.

I'm looking for a program to make good quality RS videos. By RS videos I mean like a program that films your screen. Erm that says it all I guess.
