The lag ppl are getting is most likely due to the fact that there are so many players downloading at the same time for the new update. This has happened in the past

ronnyuk - the cop thing was just an example - duhh!! Besides if you walk off a cliff, don't blame the world for your stigmatism just because they never told you a cliff was there. :P

In reply to the comments that Chaos_Reborn made in the post above, think of it this way: If you drive a car and break rules and a cop pulls you over and tickets you, are you going to use the excuse that he should tell you the rules and that he is a bad cop if he doesn't and continues to ticket you. I don't think so :D Its you responsability to know the rules of the road. Same in the game - its your responsability to read and know the rules.

You can sell items for any price. there are always takers - especially at that low price. I think a little bi of the whole picture is missing here

another pointless thread- about 20% of rs population buys their p2p for rs cash so its not a big deal not having rl cash(or chances of getting p2p) another pointless spammer- about 99% of rs population knows that is against rules and would never mention that in forum. But yes, I have money but I think it's ridiculous they want to charge me $8 a month just because I have to pay by mail. I have the money but I have a real life and can't throw it away on a game. If they charged me $5 for pay by mail then ya, I'd be a member. sue me if you want. its against the rules- jagex mostly doesnt care- they still get the money for it and are happy with it- so are both sides from the deal usually- spamming- please- who are you to talk to be about something like that? i just brought out the point that even when you cant or are not allowed to get p2p yourself theres always methods how you still can if you really want to- saying that i cant afford to isnt a reason not to and neither is saying that f2p is better cause all know how bad it is. Actually if jagex detects memberships payed for by the same card in different global locations they will ban both accounts as it breaks the rule, you cannot pay for someone elses membership outside of your family and you cannot exchange gp for rl benefits = membership. Actually I'm not sure thats true. If a parent is paying for there lets say 2 children to play, and the parents are divorced and living in different geographic locations and 1 child lives with each of the parents. The parent that is paying for them would probably pay for them all via the same means wheather credit card or what ever. The parent may not be playing, but all accounts are payed for by the one parent on same account for two children. :) Just a legal complication that might ensu :shock:

What Cruiser said is true. I was also told by a jmod "Indeed we are aware of his passing away. I believe mod ..... has dealt with his account" Most of the time a player will leave the game do to whatever circumstances, and Jagex will not know and have no proof that they will not be coming back. That is why there are names on highscores of players that some of you know have left (again for various reasons). So don't get upset that you will not be seeing his name anymore, just keep a place in your heart for him if you were truily friends. I suspect thats the way he would like it.

Paul and Andrew have commented many times on tip.it threads. So yes they are aware of what is happening

Sounds like you wandered past the firewall which is just beside the area where you went down the ladder, and got yourself totally lost :shock: Telly out and try again - you will find that you will need to telly alot in this quest. And as mentioned, at the southeast area there is a ladder going to a bridge which you can go up to get back to the boat - thats if you can dodge the guards :D

To be safe, just tell ppl to do a search for RUNESCAPE, using the engin of there choice. Tip.it and other good sited are right at the top of the listings that come up.

Don't give the idea that Jagex will deleat these items any thought. Someone is fooling with your heads. Jagex will just let the market adjust itself on these items. Sure they will only get more expensive. What do you expect - the game gets more players all the time, but they number of these items remains the same. It's really a no brainer Now a nice idea might be to make these items non traidable in a years time. That way the prices will go through the roof as players want to get one of these items before the deadline. :P I'll be a kazilionare :D :D

Not at all. With respect to the old policy about quest guides, they would never be released within the first two or three days. This was at Jagex's request bak in the day. However that changed long ago, and we've been releasing our guides as soon as they're ready for over 6 months if not more. Just so everyone knows, the Editor's comments are not representative of any of the Tip.It staff or an official Tip.It view. He/She just writes the weekly stuff based on his/her opinions and instigates some pretty interesting discussion :) Point taken - I needed help with the last wo doors myself - legs were getting tired from running up and down the stairs :) :)

Before the change of guard at Tip.it a while back, the stance was the exact oposite to this editorials stance. They used to hold back on releasing any guides to give ppl a chance to try out the puzzels. What I am reading is a very condecending point of view and I sure do not know where it is comming from. Especially since most of the old guard is still around. Smells of a power strugle within :(
