  3. 943 I got all that stuff in the past from Hotmail, at least what I could of it, into a local file before the account was gone. Unfortunately, that file was part of the mail store in Outlook Express. We were able to copy a massive amount of data from the drive area where that and other data was, but have no guarantee that it's in good condition. We didn't fire a format against it, but my dad did let it get bumped just slightly after we got the copy cycle done here. I don't think that drive will be accessible anymore. :| ~D. V. "If we didn't get it in the first copy, I'm so out of luck now." Devnull
  4. 582 Uhm... CORRECT! <*whips out a blank check to give to @Gandalf14141 for any amount he desires*> Now... where the hell are we? Oh, right... 578 :shades: ~D. V. "Dropping by when I can..." Devnull Did you know I had to leave a forum way off in the past due to people misquoting me constantly? Thank goodness that place no longer exists, but now I see I have a new issue... <*DVD pulls out a giant, hollowed cannonball. They shove @Gandalf14141 inside of it, and seal it with its' proper lid. They then quickly pull out a Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2, and shoot that human-filled cannonball out of the skylight and off into the sunset.*> Enjoy the flight, see you next fall. :shades: ~D. V. 5. Well, well, well... Do you both realize that you're 200 off of where the count is? :( <*DVD grabs both @Arceus and @Blaze The Movie Fan, and stuffs the two of them inside a huge, hollowed cannonball. DVD then promptly puts the cap on, twists it shut, and reaches over for a gravity-manipulating weapon. Having realized that they have a hold of a Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2, they smile ever so gently, and then use it promptly to pick up the cannonball. They take aim toward the giant skylight that the room around us has, and quickly shoot the human-filled cannonball out, up, and away, before anyone can escape it. That human-filled cannonball flies off and out of sight range, and keeps on traveling for thousands of miles, possibly off to another continent.*> Enjoy the flight, see you next fall. And we're at... 22677 :shades: ~D. V. "I can see you trying to squirm out of this one, Blaze... You're not getting away with that... CANNONBALL!!!" Devnull
  6. 941 Me and my family have had the parts for a while, but had things that kept happening to keep us from making it. Took a freaking disaster to make us finally put the danged thing together. Windows 7 is a whole new learning curve for me, and it doesn't help that we got stuck with a Home Premium edition. (Far as I'm concerned, Win8/Win10 are nightmares from MicroSoft, so not a word about those.) #-o [spoiler=A bundle of stuff that most people won't want to read... Click if you're insane enough to read it anyway...][spoiler=Click again here if you're really sure you want to read it...]On more serious notes, I have no idea if my locally downloaded E-mail was damaged, and I've got no conversion path to bring that forward onto a new computer. MicroSoft got me stuck on Outlook Express for the longest time, due to having a Hotmail account at one point which no longer exists due to being away from their site for too long. (Damn them, and their predatory business practices.) Worse, the mail repository was stored on the drive that failed and forced the new system to be made. So I have had absolutely no way to create a proper configuration export that could be imported elsewhere, rendering all transfer instructions useless. :wall: To add insult to injury, I still have yet to find out how much else got messed up. I'll have to beware the worst-case situation, but still try to be optimistic about what the outcome will be. :| At least my FireFox data, and things specifically linked to the browser, were all on the main drive which didn't go down. And we were able to render the old computer somewhat usable. So I'm at least feeling like I didn't lose any of that stuff, such as my Application Data and a myriad of Settings. Of course, now the problem is to import my entire Flash data cache. :-k ~D. V. "Still feeling half-dead-in-the-water... and probably being too verbose." Devnull

  9. I believe  http://forum.tip.it/topic/308416-countup/page-47?do=findComment&comment=5574802 answers that. :| Uhm... NOPE. <*whips out a giant hammer, and smacks @Gandalf14141 way off into next week*> Now... where the hell are we? Oh, right... 578 :shades: ~D. V. "Dropping by when I can..." Devnull
  10. 939 Just got knocked down hard by this PC going goofy about 9 days ago. I'm currently operating with the remnants of it, and helping to get a new system built for use. Don't expect me to be on very often for the timebeing. :| ~D. V. "Barely getting a chance to drop by..." Devnull
  11. 548 Gandalf answered that by re-quoting my hand-sign... I really miss the days when there was like 6 or 8 people going at a Forum Game thread in a day. They would still play even when I would be using my 'wild plasterings' and such. Could you imagine this forum game with that many people playing at the same time? Like, I'm talking 'full-field action' happening; the really fun times that happen even when everyone trips over each other. ~D. V. "Wishing for the return of that level of activity..." Devnull
