  1. I ask TIF A question; how exactly did people RWT using the duel arena? I'm confused on its significance? I believe there's no problem with telling me considering the problem is supposedly fixed. Can someone spill the beans for me?
  2. Ahh nostalgia. I thank the OP because now I have something to do on weeknights; Play this game. I started november 2004; remembering only playing in world 1; and seeing zezima in the highscores not knowing who he was. I remember when runecrafting was the newest skill and not being a member. I would look at herblore and think I could pick the herbs from the plants around runescape. I stopped playing when my computer sucked and started again in February '05. Slayer was out and the big weapon for members to have was the granite maul. Heh, back then whips cost (I think) 7 million and were a rarity; didn't see one in-game until july-august that year. To this day I feel like quests released after may 05 are 'new' even though there have been like 60 since. One of my most fond memories was finding the ogre hills north of gu'tanoth and seeing level 100s training in their full rune w/ berserker and dragon longsword. I thought they were so cool. Back in the day seeing level 100+ was rare; I thought once I hit that I'd be the best player. Heh, now I'm around 92 and 100 seems like 70 did back then. The summer of 05 was full of thoughts of iron ore, it being 50 each at that time. Staying up late to get the 6k ores to get that pretty full black (g); as well as getting bowstrings for 100 each - It was good money for the unskilled. I could go on an on; I might post more, but one of my best runescape memories happened, actually, this past summer - Playing this damn game for 13 hours straight one summer night. Nothing quite like going to bed at 10am XD

It's Genius, of Will Ferrel movie caliber. So really, genius in being very, very stupid. THAT is what makes it funny, and THAT is why I loved it.
  4. d00d i'm so leik HxC man. The fact that people will ALWAYS reply to this kind of topic shows we as a species have identity issues. People defined by one aspect of humanity is defining foods by what color they are. Water and alcohol are completely different things.
  5. I did not read the majority of this post for fear of me having to type out some retort. Digression - Classic rock, to me, is something revered as standing the test of time, as it's been a couple decades and we still know the names/lyrics. I don't have much if any in my collection, true, but I have friends and family who do, plus a few radio stations when I for some reason listen to such a device, to keep me with a bare minimum knowledge of the era. It's good because it's not PRETENTIOUS or not nearly enough to make me mad. The feelings expressed were generally positive and generally not whiny whatsoever. It seems to me just good, fun music.
  6. + 1337 I'm sad Valient Thorr didn't play (or maybe they did, i clearly wasn't paying attention) Bad Religion on the Bill? In all honesty I liked them in their late '80s era better, but still the same guys -finestone so you gotta at least give them some love. The bottom line is I'm not going to see 20 bands that divide to 2 I like and 18 I hate.
  7. are you serious? no one said Matt Freeman? Are you SERIOUS? He was inspiration for me to pick up the instrument! He's of Rancid, and he's leeter than hell! listen to maxwell murder if you doubt me.
  8. yeah dude, why the heck did I post the wrong link? Oh well, hopefully the point was understood
  9. hey man, what a refresher! I swear I see so many blogs with people combat 100 talking about how they only got one barrows drop today; but you remind me of..well, me, back not too long ago! I wish you luck because we all were once there, and I betcha if you work at it you'll be wearing that cape in no time flat. BTW Nice fm level, it stands out.
  10. August 9th, 2007 Well, a lot has happened for me these past few days. I continued to train slayer, which finally hit 55. Before that, however, I started doing barrows with pure melee (using verac's set.) It was decently effective, requiring anywhere from 4-13 doses depending on who was the tunnel brother. After a few dropless runs I continued the slayer path, and upon hitting 55 got me a slayer staff and started darting. Slayer dart is the way to go. I also got a mining level (was within 10k beforehand so it bothered me) And also gained 72 defense, and 52 herblore. August 08th, 2007
  11. Later that day... I wake up around 6pm, ready to own. I start with getting 3 more quest points by 'making history.' After a shower, I gather my gear and take on the culinaromancer. That noob was gonna pay! I was recording up to the gelatinoth monster (forgot to tape, failure I know.) The failure didn't stop because I copied over the quest complete! I did beat it though, as I have leet Barrows Gloves to show for it (collage to be made soon.) Until then, slayer time! (BTW: this donation was from a couple days ago, but just now is the image post) 1337 Donation from Salim123 (those rune bolts helped own gelly) Making History Complete RFD Complete at Level 91 FTW
  12. AUGUST 6TH, 2007 This morning I completed two quests, In search and aid of the Myreque, which offers a new route for barrows once I gain 55 slayer. The quests also leveled my crafting to 53. Only 3 more quest points before I can finish RFD as well (with any luck that will be tomorrow.) 53 Crafting In Search of the Myreque Complete In Aid of the Myreque Complete
  13. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=682898 (edited the link at below date) I made this thread about a week ago, and please, post there. we don't need 15 topics about the same thing
  14. August 4th, 2007 (morning) Well tonight I beat two quests (foolishly forgetting to save the Ghost's ahoy quest complete screen.) I did keep the shades of Mort'ton one, as well as me hitting 50 herblore (and having a 1337 total level.) Pics below and in the main blog. Overall, a good night, and only 7 more qp to go till RFD.
