I guess I fall into that class :P I care a lot about my K/D ratio, but, I do try and contribute as much as possible (i.e. Stopping enemies before they have a chance to kill my team-mates). Actually, that reminds me of the time when my entire team decided to continually fire tracer darts into me. Apparently I was 'useless' and they 'didn't need me'. Obviously the 10 kills and 0 deaths didn't help at all, especially when my team wasn't actually doing anything :thumbup: True, when I go to play recon I try to be in the top 5 of the scoreboard but so often I see snipers with less than 500 points a good way through a round, just what is the point?

Xbox and PS3 will get the patch when it gets put through the motions, shouldn't be long before it hits. What really annoys me sometimes about this game is when you get pathetic snipers who don't contribute to the team and just care about their K/D, that is sort of against the point of the game.

I prefer the M24 it's the best of the bunch if you ask me.

1. The starting guns aren't the greatest but you aren't at that much of a disadvantage to others, you get better guns reasonably quick as well. 2. Pins and insignias, along with gun skill levels . 3. The game is slower and faster than MW2 in parts, lone wolfing it won't do much help either.

You think shotguns aren't by their nature long ranged? Shotguns in videogames generally have cut off points where the shells just stop doing damage, generally very much before their real life counterparts would stop being effective, as a point of game balance. With the right specialisations shotguns can have proper range in this game too.

Skill level is determined by who you kill and who kills you, if you kill someone with a higher skill level than you, you get a small increase to your skill level, and vice versa.

After Epic's Cliff Bleszinski delayed his Thursday night appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show a mistake by Microsoft on the Xbox 360 dashboard advertising an April '11 release date for GOW3 was put up. More details have also been found. Cliff will be on the Jimmy Fallon show on Monday where he is expected to officially announce the game. Personally I really enjoyed the first two games and I see the third carrying on the trend, all Epic need to do is make sure they have a solid netcode this time for the release. Yes, when you knife someone, you get their dog-tags as a reminder. Fun little something extra that you can go "Look I got withing knifing distance of you and you didn't notice haha!", although quite a few of mine are from ninja'ing into their base and stabbing the UAV guy. It's lame that the ones you got during the demo don't count toward the badges. I have like 50 of them, (3 of one guy :grin:) , but the badge only has 37 <_<. And I don't know what is different about bronze and silver ones, maybe when you reach bronze star for the knife you get silver, and so on? My tags from the demo carried over. People start dropping gold dog tags after I believe level 35. I have three golds from the same person :thumbup: I stabbed a level 35 the other day and still got silver tags. Got 223 dog tags atm, been knifing less in games recently.

The colour just represents rank, bronze till level 23 and I think gold at 50 not seen any rank 50s yet so no chance to give them a stab and find out.
