  1. turmoil, extremes, cannon all possible tasks, kuradal's dungeon/ring. Its now economical to piety in bandos with SW cape, and with soul split combat familers on all multicb tasks is very easy.

From xr3d3mp1onx's Powerslaying video series, using Cannon, Steel Titan, Super Antifires when applicable:

Constants: Bandos top/bottom, Berserker Ring (I), Slayer Helm, Whip, Rune Defender, Extreme Strength/Attack, Lots of prayer potions, Turmoil, Berserker

    Dark Beasts - 44k slayer/hour

    Skeletal Wyverns - 33.6k slayer/hour

    Dagannoth - 70k slayer/hour

    Abyssal Demons - 31.5k slayer/hour

    Tzhaar - 32k slayer/hour

    Bloodveld - 88k slayer/hour

  2. Enjoyed the articles, both were pleasant reads. Just wanted to ask a slightly unrelated question about the "Did you know" section. Do you guys make them up as you go from the writers, editors and Tip.It staff themselves or rely on users? I wouldn't mind contributing some of my DYK myself. Anyways, keep up the good work writers, editors and staff.

  3. Ahh, no i see i just interperted your calculation in a different way i understand now, thank you very much :) only 25m for 95 summ... awesome!

You're very welcome :) Good luck with Summoning and have fun with your iron titan and eventually a Yak and Steel Titan hopefully :)

  4. So from your calculation it should be 1026(cost of lizard) + 10k (crims) * (3750*0.3) * 25

    = 11026 * (1125) * 25

    = 310 106 250 gp

    O, i don't quite think that's right XD

    Summation of the costs would be equal to = (1026*10000) + [(10k crimsons)(150*0.3)]*(25 gp/shard)

    = 11,385,000

A swamp titan isn't 3750 shards, it's only 150 shards. If you're still confused about how I calculated that then again, ask ^^

  5. He is right, blocking is there for a reason. Personally I block bloodvelds because I seemed to always be getting them and they bored me to death. Use the blocks. Also greater demons won't be as bad when you get Kuradel (sp?). If you get realy realy bored try mixing it up, do a fire giant task in the chaos tunnels.

Fire giants in the chaos tunnels should be the only area you would be killing them in the first place.

  6. i want to get my hunter up to level 54 to wear gloves of silence so i gotta get on my hunter

its level 11 right now and i quit playing and forgot how to level can anyone give me some

advice to level it up to 54?

    thanks!

My advice would be to catch a variety of birds and what you find is the best hunter experience at your level at the moment (it's really slow at this point, and you don't have much choice of where to hunt, really) until level 29 where you can then catch swamp lizards. Catch swamp lizards until level 47, where you'll then catch orange salamanders in the desert until level 54 (or 60 if you wish to continue). Red Salamanders from 60-80, then Red Chins or maybe Grenwalls if you're after profit until 99.

    Hope this helps

  7. Hey,

Currently i have enoguh charms banked to gain me 93 summ however i want 95. I have a few questions regarding costs.

I have worked out that with SoL and battle robes it will only cost me 5k barrages therefore around 14m for the charms from 93-95 summ as i already have 93 banked.

    1) I wanted to know is it worth using my charms now to get 93 then use the wolper whilst barraging for remainder charms? If not what familiar should i take, if any, bear in mind i dislike 8+ hour trips, with battle robes i will tops do 2k barrages a trip.

    2) I know there is that website which calculates the cost of the ACTUAL summoning, but i do not understand what each result calculates, therefore i would realllly like it if someone could help me work out:

In total i need around 10k crims for 95 summ, could someone work out how much it will cost me for 95 summoning if i:

a ) Traded in the pouches

b ) Had 1k blues and 9k crimson charms to use ( this is a generalised charm count, i know it will be different but i want a aproximation on how much summoning 89-95 will cost)

If anybody can help i will deeply appreciate it.

(also don't ask me why i'm not gonna get yak YET, i have my reasons and wil get yak in summer for when i MH)

    Hello there mujammil,

First of all for the first question. It's completely up to you if you want to use your banked charms right now to get 93 summon (Wolpertinger is actually at 92 summon) but the use of Wolpertingers at Rock Lobsters have been known to mess up lures, as well also the "extreme magic" boost so to speak only affects one of the 7 lobsters, or 9 if you're using that spot.

As for the total cost, it's very easily to calculate. It's simply the sum of the cost of the secondaries (Whatever you're making with the crimsons, whether be it Swamp Lizards for Swamp Titans or Granite 200g for Granite Lobsters) plus the (number of pouches * (shard cost of that familiar * 0.3) then multiply that whole result by 25 (price per shard)).

If you'd like a sample calculation of the cost, don't hesitate to ask.

    Hope this helps.

  8. If you have 99 attack and 99 strength you can whip them with constant piety (NOT turmoil, piety is better than turmoil at waterfiends). I posted this on a previous waterfiend task topic and got heavily doubted.. I will make a video when I get back members but at maxed melee (no extremes) and piety I got ~75 crimsons per Unicorn roughly which equates to 100 kills an hour. Lucipher6 is also known to whip waterfiends. Comparing this to Z spear and Saradomin Sword, you only get about 10-30 kills less an hour, so I'd say it's pretty decent. Oh, forgot to mention this is obviously on a slayer task, it'd be much less off task.

  9. You're lazy but you'd rather cut granite blocks into 200g blocks? Yeah.. pretty sure kyatt running is faster than that method.

Anyways, you get 70% back of the shards if you swap them at Bolrog, so in this case.. (166*0.7 = 116.2) 116 shards. This goes for all pouches as well.

  10. Ok, so I'm looking at 96 summoning as a goal in about 3 months. I know you can bring 5kg blocks and chisel them up, swap for shards. Can someone outline exactly how you do this? How many shards/pouch do you get back?

Just run them using a kyatt. So much easier and with less hassle.

This is good if you want to achieve 2k crafting exp an hour.

I'll assume you're making a poor joke... I checked the numbers on the Official RuneScape Game Manual while writing my post... If someone uses my advice at the fastest possible rate they can, then they can expect more like 50k to 100k exp/hr... Possibly More... And that doesn't include all the mining exp they're racking up during this. B)

It is NOT a poor joke. Sure my post may have been a bastardization and an under estimate of the true hourly experience per hour, but as bladewing said self sufficiency goes right in hand with inefficiency. You get mining exp, but now you're severely hurting your exp rates by going out and mining silver, or clay (to save what, an odd 100k at level 50?). You're better off going out there and using your best money maker to afford the levels which although will cost more, you will gain more exp/hour albeit the cost it takes, which isn't even that much to begin with. Also about your figure of 50-100k crafting an hour... not possible on silver and bowls in F2P and you stating that ridiculous range to begin with that in itself is proof that you don't know the actual rates. The only feasible and possible way to achieve or surpass 100k an hour is cutting diamonds, which last time I checked was about 30 gp/xp.

  12. Angat14, if you wish to have full self-sufficiency, avoid using anything more than a very small amount of gp, and avoid combat that could mess up your pure's stats, then I personally suggest the following methods of training your crafting levels:

    1. 5 to 7 -- Clay Pots
(Make sure you fire them as well!)
    2. 7 to 8 -- Pie Dishes
(Could do pots, but this will be faster...)
    3. 8 to 16 -- Bowls
(Fastest exp during this period... You'd have to lose a lot of time in mining if you did Gold Amulets...)
    4. 16 to 23 -- Two options here:
      1. More Bowls
(If you don't mind repeating this some more...)
      2. Holy Symbols
(Great for prayer extension while in combat... Make sure you both string them and get them blessed!)

    [*]23 to 40 -- Three options here:

    1. More Bowls
(If you don't mind repeating this some more...)
    2. Holy Symbols
(If you don't mind repeating this some more... Again, great for prayer extension while in combat... Make sure you both string them and get them blessed!)
    3. Tiaras
(Awesome if you're going to also RuneCraft them later...)

[*]40 to 50 -- So many options here that it literally isn't funny. However, you now have access to the Crafting Guild, so you can speed along with just about ANY crafting method all the way to level 50... DO SOMETHING YOU WILL ENJOY HERE OR YOU'LL GO NUTS...

(I personally had to spend time down from RuneScape because I did go nuts from it...)

Yes, mining gets severely involved here, but Leather must be avoided in order to not end up training combat or taking a severe hit to your gp available to you. But, only use these suggestions I've made if you can find enjoyment in them, as they can become quite tedious. Otherwise, they won't be worth the time spent being out of combat, even with the fact that they can be pure profit as long as you didn't spend gp in buying materials to train via these ways. I do hope, however, that this information and these methods will become of some use to you. :)

This is good if you want to achieve 2k crafting exp an hour.

  13. I was in the same position as you are now ages ago.

Get SGS, that one's much better if you're going to use it outside of godwars also.

SGS is completely worthless, the only useful one is AGS if that. I'd take BGS/whip + Dragon Claws over AGS or SGS 99% of the time.

    Agree. AGS

And jaffy, you are arguing with 2 maxed combat people ^.^

    Make that 3

  14. Actually, I see the price of elysian/divine going up because of the new skill. The best stab weapon in the game (rapier or longsword, not sure which yet) is one-handed, meaning that a divine/elysian can be used while killing corp. I see this leading to it being (almost) easy to solo 2 corps in one trip (already is possible now, but this will make it easier), probably leading to more people trying it, and therefore more people wanting a divine/elysian. Yes? No?

No, because apparently all non spear damage is halved by 2.

  15. I brush at least 2 times a day, mostly 3 times a day. I don`t see how people don`t brush their teeth for more than days at a time, it`s disgusting to say the least.

  16. He's easy even if you don't use a kyatt, I don't see the problem here. That being said I understand your need to rant and accept it, but Nomad has a misconception of being hard. He's not.

  17. Everyone keeps saying crush vs corp....

I always thought he was weak to stab...

    Who's right?

You are, Rapier will rip Corporeal into pieces.

1,5x as fast as a Zamorakian Spear, +9 stab bonus, +26 str bonus.

If the assumptions were correct in that the rapier has a speed equivalent to a scimitar/short sword, then the rapier has equivalent speed to the Zamorakian spear. Z spear has the same exact speed as a whip.

Also as a side note I'd like to say that the Corporeal Beast is weak to STAB from SPEARS specifically, but the Statius Warhammer is commonly used (ON CRUSH) for its special attack.
