All these updates, and I still haven't found out how to get started looking for the symbols. The first mate hates me, the boy is lying. . . I'm just out of ideas.

There is no armor-level formula. Jagex just wants to make sure you don't have noobs wearing full Dharok's. The level-requirement of the armor has nothing to do with its stats.

I'd like to know, so I can see if I can get some cash from this.

I second that you might not want a Mac for gaming. It will greatly limit your selection of games should you choose to play more later. However, if you're sure you want it, I would go with the first suggestion. Don't bother getting the more expensive one. You'll be fine.

About the tablet suggestion. . . are those really capable of playing games? And they're really pricey. And don't they have less power to make them smaller and more portable? Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm still sure I want a laptop. And I'm still sure I don't want a Mac. :P

I need to get a laptop for college. My college recommends Mac or Dell (like every other college :roll: ) but I don't want either of those. I'm looking to do the standard stuff, plus maybe some gaming--not like AoE III or anything, but I'd like to be able to use it for something maybe about WoW quality. I was just wondering if anyone knows about decent computers. I have a pretty good budget: $2,000 at least, maybe up to 2,500 or 3,000? I was thinking HP would be the next place to go? Or are Dells really not that bad? My experience with Dells is not happy. I have a Dell right now, and I really don't want to do it again. Anyway, any suggestions are helpful. Thanks so much! =)

You can also set your Windows to make an American keyboard write foreign characters. It's under the keyboard settings in your control panel. It makes it so you can do ' + e and end up with ̮̩̉̉, etc. And that does work in RS.

This actually happened to me once (minus the skull). I was trying to open that stupid chest in the Bedabin outpost. It poisoned me, and I realised that I didn't have antipot or food. Instead of trying to pickpocket one from the guys right there, I tele'd to Lumby to used the chest. (It was the only tele runes I had on me.) Then ROL took me to Fally. I died on my way to the bank, and didn't get back in time to get my stuff from the noobs. Fortunately, without the skull, I got to keep d chain, legs, and square. But I lost d long, glory, d med, rune boots, and black gloves. I was so angry. Then I was thinking back on it about 10 minutes later and realised I could have used the healing prayer. It was pretty new at that point, so I didn't even think about it. Yeah, you get over it. All of it was under 2M (even though med was over a mil and rune boots were 300k at that time), so I recovered pretty fast.

Yeah, I remember that. I thought it was so funny that you couldn't say d**n, but you could say a*s. Then they made that update where when you typed in a swear, it replaced it with a similar word in parentheses. That was so funny, because people kept saying things that make no sense, and everyone was getting confused. I can't actually remember any of the replacement words. If someone has any pics, or remembers well this short-lived update, please post stuff. That was a very funny week-or-so.

What do you use the dueling rings for? Is that to bank?

Off topic: (and sort of nooby, sorry) What is a staker? You refer to yourself as one multiple times. I've never heard of that before.
