How far into the Fairy Tale 2 quest do you need to be before you can access the fairy ring network? Can you access it even if I don't have the required farming level?

Used to love this sound, would be a killer sound for a text message on my phone lol. Anyone know where it can be downloaded online?

Thanks all, I never did get RS fully out of my system when i quit last time around, never really got bored with it like I do other games (bored with DIII after 2 months). Seems like Jagex has done good with keeping players involved with new quests, enemies, events, etc. I dont really have the time anymore to put back into it like I once did, but it'll be a good diversion from time to time.

Just like the title says, I've not played in several years, probably since 04/05. I found an old membership gift card in my closet a couple days ago, and am thinking of jumping back online to see how things have changed (and get that X cape). Thing is, it looks like so much has advanced since last time i played. I want to be able to jump in game and work on a skill (not really combat or questing), but it seems that they've all changed so much since last time I've played. Now we've got urns and special armor/gloves/etc that increase skills.... throw in the mingames and sub-quests, and I dont know where to start! I liked fishing, mining, agility, and slaying around the last itme I played, but it looks like all the primo spots need to be unlocked by quests or some type of special armor to get the most XP. For example, last time I... Fished... Catheby or fishing guild seemed to be the best Mining... Falador, mining guild Agility... Ape atoll course Slaying... Slayer tower I dont want to spend hours unlocking the best spot, so I guess I'm asking which one is the easist to level up in, given that I've not unlocked anything in the last several years. TIA

Well I guess I you could say I am "old money". I used to merchant rares back when phats were only a couple mil, and halloween masks were about 250k per. I made a lot doing that (had a full phat set, 4 or so mask sets, easter eggs, DOR's, and at one time about 40 santa hats). Then the phat dupe happened, so that hurt my bank alot. Shortly after the dupe I decided to quit playing so I sold off EVERYTHING I owned and turned it all into solid GP, about 28 million worth. I didnt want to hold on to the rares I had, just incase another duping happened later, so I turned it all into GP... :wall: Now I see that it may have been a mistake to do that #-o Anyways, I've been living on that 28 mill ever since. Im down to under a couple million gp now tho :ohnoes: But the main way I got started was gathering and selling endless amounts of herbs. Back then you would only get 3k or so per rannar, but when you got a few hundred of them it really paid off in a hurry

Noooooooo!!! Mr. Kibbles!!!! :pray: Lost mine while doing a slayer assignment on the death plateau. Out of food, about 20 HP left, using prayer to get my final couple trolls to complete the assignment. Killed my final couple trolls and ran down the mountain path, not even thinking that protect from melee isnt going to stop those multicombat zone rock throwing tolls... *DEAD*

A little update on the situation... Nearly a month later, and not too much playing really this is what I have ended up with... Berzerker Helm Rune Plate Rune Legs Rune Kite Abyssal Whip Glory Ammy Ring Of Wealth Fremenik Cloak Cape Climbing Boots Rune Gloves Have 5 rune defenders in bank, really dont use them too much (might start giving them a try though). Got as far as I could in "recipe for disaster" but couldnt get the last couple mini parts done (not enough quest points). I did end up getting to 99 combat (80 ATK, 80 STR, 79 DEF, 79 HP) so I'm closing in on the goal of 100 combat finally \ Thanks to all who helped me out with my armor issues :thumbsup:

Hi all, just a quick question about combat levels. I used the calc on Tip.It and it says I am currently lvl 97 and need either... 1) 1 ATK or STR lvl - OR - 2) 1 DEF or HP lvl - OR - 3) 1 Prayer lvl If I were to go with an ATK, STR, DEF, or HP lvl to get to combat 98, will I still only need 1 prayer lvl to get to combat 99? Thanks in advance, hope that wasnt too confusing :-k EDIT ~~~~~~~~~~ Well that was pretty dumb, I coulda plugged in the #'s to see how it adde dup lol :oops: Never knew that there was an advantage in the way that you build your lvls up

Im a noob, I know... Trying to find a black wizard hat for the Shadow of the Storm quest. I got a set of priest gowns, but cant find a black hat anywhere. Isnt there a store somewhere that sells em? TIA

Just wondering, from what I can tell its supposed to take whatever you hit your opoponent for and add that to your current life. I've tried it like 20 times and it says it hits my opponent, but I have yet to see any effect on my health. Am i way off here?

Adamant boots are 1/10 the price and not much worse. Sweet, didnt know addy was an option. I'll try to dig up a pair of those

If I were to buy one of these helms from someone, would I be able to wear it even though I havent done the quest?

Hi all, just starting to get back into playing a little bit. Last time I "really" played was more than a year ago, and I have decided to train up my combat (100 has always been a goal of mine, currently 94). I was training the other day and saw a guy with a whip (abyssal whip after doing a little reasearch). Looks like a pretty solid weapon, so I think I'll be picking one up. However, this brought me to another question... What other kinds of stuff armor/weapon wise is out there? I dont want to sell myself short on my training gear. As of right now, I am wearing rune large, plate, legs, kite, ruby ammy, klanks gaunts, boots of lightness, and using a dragon long. I know there are ALOT of new weapons and armors out there, and just dont know what to think of them. I am 80 STR, 79 ATT, and 70 DEF. I have heard of this new barrows armor stuff, but I dont think thats what I'm looking for (too glitzy, and costs too much $, but I am interested in knowing what is "THE BEST" weapon/armor in the game). I found a guide on tip.it, but it looks like its missing some stuff (rune boots, etc.) Basically, I'm looking to upgrade what Im wearing and not end up spending millions and millions of GP (example, spending 1.8 million gp on dragon square when its stats are minimally better than rune kite). Thanks to all who help me out or can point me to a guide/faq/information on the subject.

Oh fun topic, just so happens I was going through my HD the other day to free up some space for new mini-DV camcorder downloads, and I went through a stack of old RS pics. Most of them are not that old really Secret Santa party from a while back Another pic of same party I believe Player type selection. Not my pic, cant remember where I got it from. Bug that let people offer 275K and a rune large in the first trade screen, then on the second trade screen it changed to 27.5K... caused all sorts of problems for a day or two Mod trying to teleport bluerose for some reason, not my pic and not sure of approx. date. Coming soon, also not my pic. Pic from the phat dupe. The guy who did it posted all the following pics on a website. The site was only up for a few hours, so luckily I DL'd them when I did. There were many more pics, but here are a few of the better ones. Banned, still a shame they didnt rollback #-o

Not trying to hi-jack, but since you already got an answer to your Q, I'll pose one of my own... As far as I can remember, once you pick a gauntlet you have to stick with that type. Example, I got cooking gaunts back when I did family crest... Now I want crafting gaunts. Once you pick you cant switch, right? You can switch from one type of gauntlets to another, but it costs 25.000 (?) gp. :shock: Sweet, any idea of who to talk to? (sorry I'm a born again noob) :oops:
