  1. Imagine there's no Heaven

    It's easy if you try

    No hell below us

    Above us only sky

    Imagine all the people

    Living for today

John Lennon knew it, why dont the rest of us?

Yeah, and if the killer whales can do it, why can't we?

There's only unethical and immoral actions here. No sins.

QFTW -- If I avoid doing anything which is regarded by others as sinful it's because I think it's wrong myself, and not because I particularly care what they think. For the same reason, I obey laws only when it suits me, in that I either obey because I think the law is just, or obey because it's just easier than disobeying and its likely consequences. So... I'm all for speeding on an open road (/speeding when it's obviously safe to do it) -- that sort of thing.

I wouldn't murder someone for several reasons: one, that I think it's wrong to do so; two, because if I were that annoyed with them I'd think of something nastier to do; and three, that I'd probably be punished for it. Well, depending on how stupid I was in the execution*.

    *pun intended.

  2. When I get pissed off, I pull out a classic shooter like "Quake 1" or "Mechwarrior 2" or "Mechwarrior 3" or a tweaked demo of "Nerf ArenaBlast"... Allows me to blow off steam and upset easily on an Adrenaline Rush... :)

I used to play "Unreal Tournament GOTYE" (The ORIGINAL, NOT 2K2 or later!!!) and blow off steam that way while still in high school and there was a place I could play it. Man I wish I could play that game again. :?

I'm with you on the computer games front.

I don't really do the punching pillows thing -- in fact, I don't really punch things when I'm annoyed. I want to, but I'm usually quite aware that I'd break a bone or something. I often feel like biting things -- which is just a bit strange. If I'm annoyed at someone then I tend to play out their horribly violent death/mutilation (either caused by me or by a curious swinging blade somehow installed in the ceiling -- not sure why I think of that, but it's nice for lots of people at once) in my mind again and again and again, quickly.

  3.

There are also meat-free recipes specifically for vegetarians which supposedly taste similar to the meat-based recipes.

Yeah -- and in my experience they are actually quite similar, though I may just have been having some very strange haggis. If you are worried you won't like a meat one, you might try a vege one; as I say, I think they're quite similar. Thing is, having never eaten both a meat one and a vegetarian one in the same meal, I can't be that sure.

  4. Could be me, but I don't really like her face. I wonder how long she practiced to get that smile 'right'.

No -- I agree. I thionk* that lot are "model" attractive, that is, they have all the qualities which judges must consider in making their decision, without actually being good looking.

Edit: *I thionk lots of things.

  5. This is probably my favourite food... though the picture doesn't look like a very nice example of it. I won't try to spell it.

  6. Not that I want to argue about how good they were (though I'm not a big fan), but their being huge before he offed himself doesn't stop them being overrated. (What would stop them being overrated would be their being good). (Again, I'm not saying they weren't).

  7. I dont think this is compleatly true, you see people seem to still get pissed at me if i spell something wrong. Either that, or most people are stupid.

I'm not saying I'm pissed off with you (I'm not), but there's a difference between bad spelling and jumbled middle letters.

  8. Chief Layabout of the Apathy Society.

I have never had so much as a paper round. I've thought about getting a job this summer, but I don't think I will. I would like some extra money... but I'm not bored or lacking of things to do. Also, any money I managed to make in the short space of time between now and getting a student loan will be dwarfed by the loan itself, so will seem insignificant.

A friend of mine once got a job for some sort of unusual electrical components manufacturer, and was doing interesting stuff all the time, and making lots of money. I'd consider doing that sort of thing, but I can't see myself actually getting that sort of job -- he was really lucky.

  9. Movies

Leaving in the middle of the night to go on vacation

Long summer nights with friends outside, talking, listening to music, having dinner with all of them etc.

    Good food

Going to the beach on a hot day

Going to the beach on a stormy day for walking

Going to sleep while you hear the rain ticking on your roof

Lying in the grass with absolutely nothing on your mind

    ,,

    Also:

Being in tune with something (talking about pitch, not psychedelic understanding of things).

Being woken up in the morning by my alarm clock, then realising I can go back to sleep.

    Suddenly understanding things.

    Various people

  10.

    England yes, UK no

college here means somewhere where you can take courses, like HNCs for example. You can also get highers if you didn't manage to get them at school. It's more like a uni than a school.

We don't have 6th form colleges up here.

Bah, sorry, my mistake. I'm (provided I've not mucked everything up) going to uni in Scotland, and that confused me more than a bit (which I suppose is not hard). Then there's the whole fast-track/skip-a-year business: I've not got a clue how old the people on my course are going to be... but I suppose it's not such an issue at this (general) age.
