New to this thread, so here goes
Im crushing hard on a girl from my school, but i dont know what so say to her to start a conversation, its not that im too scared to do it, i just dont know what i should say to break the ice...
Do you have a class with her? Any common friends? Any known common interests? Have you talked to her at all yet?
edit: As ginger said don't over complicate it, talk to her like shes a guy friend but state your interest and what you like about her.
She has different classes than i do, i dont really know anything at all of her (except for the fact she has a BF, sorry for to not mention that), i only said hi when passing by in the hallways
If she has a bf then there's nothing you can do.

My friends got me drunk to the point where I thought chugging everclear (196 proof) would sober me up. I headed butted my friend and ended up puking (go figure). Dry ice is very fun to play with. I held myself fairly well that night though. Kinda. For having eaten nothing all day and smoked like 3 grams.
No shame. 10/10 would do again. Morning HURT though.
Oh and I looked at my gut just now and ew. I used to have a six pack. Turns out beer and bar food is like the anti six pack. I need to join a gym or something.
Repeat: goodbye liver.
That liver was already shot. Now he's just beating around a dead horse.

College has gone along well for the most part so far. Lots of new experiences and changes. My classes start up tomorrow.

Yeah, it's a bit unusual. The other big state school around here started in like early or mid August. I dunno what the reasoning is behind it, I guess we'll just get out later. ¯\(°_o)/¯

This semester is looking really easy so far, despite this being my last year of highschool. I only have English, math, and extended French right now, and only English and math will be going onto my university transcript, so I can pretty much just neglect French if I ever get a huge workload in my other two courses. I don't think I've had more than half of an hour of homework in a night so far, though, so I don't think I'll have to do this.
The thought of me going off to university sort of freaks me out. I don't feel any different from when I entered highschool (I've probably matured quite a bit, but somehow I still feel the same), so the thought of graduating seems a little inane to me right now. Eh, perhaps I'll adjust to it in a bit.
I didn't know we were the same age o.O
But from my experience, I'm on week three of university and it is a huge difference than high school. However, there's so many activities and people to help you adjust in the first few weeks. You'll be fine.

That makes it even worse if it was a formal event. Also that event would generally be called a welcoming address or something similar.I don't like high heels, yes. And I don't really like short skirts either. I prefer hot pants and sneakers on a lady :)
And she didn't wear them in the evening event, cause she wasn't there.
She wore that attire to the formal schoolyear opening event, where the professors hold their speeches and stuff. I don't know the name of this event in English.
It's called a convocation.

Met up with The_Gabe for dinner tonight, always fun meeting people you've known online for a while irl. Also, I got a new kitten :wub: there's pictures in the Pets thread. First day of class today, a couple of them are looking pretty interesting.
3 lectures first day haha. Had PT this morning at 6:15 too. Gonna have it MWF at 6:15-7:30.
